A little behind the scenes today, getting Memory Boxes and Keepsake Packs ready to head out to hospitals across WA. 🤍

Every box packed, every item checked, every delivery made is working towards one very simple mission:

That no family in WA experiencing pregnancy, baby or child loss leaves hospital without access to meaningful bereavement care.

Our Memory Boxes and Keepsake Packs are not simply a beautiful gift to give a grieving family.

They are an essential bereavement care resource.

They give parents the opportunity to create memories with their child when the time they have together may be heartbreakingly short.

They provide items to capture handprints, footprints, locks of hair and other precious keepsakes that can never be recreated.

They provide information and resources for the days, weeks and months that follow.

And importantly, they create a pathway to ongoing peer and professional support, so families know they don’t have to navigate life after loss alone.

We are incredibly grateful for the hospital staff on the ground who care so deeply for the families they support. The staff who recognise the importance of these resources, keep an eye on their supply and reach out when they’re running low so that the next family who needs one doesn’t miss out.

And to the incredible businesses, suppliers, makers, donors and bereaved families who help us fill them — we simply couldn’t do this without you.

If you work within a WA hospital or health service and your area doesn’t currently have access to IMOY Memory Boxes or Keepsake Packs, please reach out to us.

Whether you work in maternity, emergency, NICU, paediatrics, theatre, day procedure, bereavement, palliative care or another area where pregnancy, baby or child loss may occur — we want to hear from you.

Because where a family experiences their loss should never determine the bereavement care they receive. 🤍

Always loved. Always remembered ✨

Cass + her little family. 🤎✨

This is what I want family sessions to feel like.

Run through the long grass. Swing them between you. Kiss their little faces. Laugh until your belly hurts. Let them be wild, silly and completely themselves.

Because these are the moments you’ll miss one day not everyone perfectly looking at the camera, but this. The way they reached for your hand. The way they looked up at you. The way being together felt. 🥹

Golden light + a whole lotta love. ☀️🤎

Fierce. Wild. Unapologetic.

After dinner tonight, I realised I hadn’t posted anything today, so I thought I’d put together a few slides and jump on this trend instead. 🤭 And honestly… this feels very us.

I feel like “kinda chic” is really just the little things that make everyday life feel a bit more you, the things you reach for, notice, gift, collect or enjoy for no big reason other than they make the day feel nicer.

And honestly, I’ll always be here for anything that makes the everyday feel a little more fun. 💜

So now I want to know… what’s something you think is kinda chic? ✨let me know in the comments below.

@craftmkr

As demand for our Memory Boxes has grown, so too has the demand on the incredible small businesses that lovingly create the items inside them.

For the past two years, every candle has been hand-poured by the beautiful Lisa from @arch.and.coops.candleco As a fellow bereaved mum, Lisa has poured not only wax into every candle, but so much of her heart, time and generosity into supporting our families. We honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she’s given to IMOY.

As we’ve continued to grow, it became clear that this was simply too much for one small business to carry alone.

So we’re incredibly excited to welcome another beautiful mama to the candle team. Cassie from @prousteffect_ has already been creating our much-loved Inner Peace room sprays, and will now also be hand-pouring candles for our Memory Boxes and Keepsake Packs.

This isn’t a goodbye to Lisa, far from it. It’s about sharing the load, supporting one another, and ensuring we can continue providing these special keepsakes to every family who needs them 🩷🙏🏼

We feel so incredibly lucky to work alongside such talented women, many of whom have their own stories of pregnancy and infant loss.

There is something so meaningful about knowing these keepsakes are created with such love, understanding and care.

Pictured are some of our beautiful new candle additions ✨ 🤍
