Punks writing stories & poems to help people out. Anthology in ‘27 from @punkrocksaveslives & @unsolicitedp Edited by @onereaderwrites & @mister__nick

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

If I had one wish, it would be that the entire world looked and felt like it did at @crossroadsgarwoodnj last Sunday.

We're building the complete media archive from the Concert for EJG and need help from attendees!

If you were there with a camera or a phone and have photos, video, or even audio you'd like archived for possible future use - DM me and I'll send you an upload link.

Looking for anything that captured the vibes of the day!

Whether professional or amateur, all media is welcome.

Candids, performance, venue, staff, patio, bar, green room, food, merch area, it doesn't matter - No need to sift through and pick out the best. We'll handle the legwork and remove duplicates or unusable files and authorize use rights with you.

All that we ask is that you only send media that you own and have the right to distribute.

Again, send me a DM and i'll send a link and contributor form.

We'll see what we have and then know what can be done with all of it.

HOW IT WORKS:

Books! My short-short horror novel, PATERFAMILIAS, is out in the world and ready to shock and dismay! Big thanks if you’ve gotten one already! It’s cool if you haven’t yet, BUT YOU’RE DEAD TO ME.

Also, if you’d rather not further fill Overlord Bezos’s coffers, DM me and I’ll mail you a copy. I’ll even mess it up with my signature!

Another big thanks to @athinsliceofanxiety for unleashing this horrible little monster. Hope you all dig. KTHXBYE.

Friends, I’ve been really bad at posting lately. It’s been a tough mental health month for me. BUT here are some pics from recent events. We’ve had a couple of new volunteers at shows, which has been fun! Check out pics from the @errthisaband @soji_band show, the @newcastleprfm July punk rock flea market, and the @thetoadies show last night. We’ve had such a great time seeing familiar faces and making new friends, sharing our mission with folks, helping people sign up for the bone cancer registry, and handing out harm reduction supplies 🖤

What’s next? I’ll be sharing that in the next week.

Be kind, stay safe, and get cherished. 🖤

It was a big night for @prsldmv at @galactic.panther on July 17. Thanks to @errthisaband for inviting us along, and all the bands that played: @truthordaredc, @nightmarathons, and @fondbandva. We swabbed 12 people for the bone marrow donor registry! Follow @prslwritingproject for updates on the anthology's 2027 release!

Shore traffic is a bitch right now. Kids are pissing in pools at parties. And beach tags are way too expensive.

All the more reason to come hang out with me and my friends tomorrow at @thepunkmarket There’s something for everyone there. And if not, grab a beer or 2 from @asburyparkbrewery

I’ll have all the classic logos along with a few new ones. Come out to @njexpo between 10-7 to see what I’m talking about. #art #punk #fleamarket #nj #newjersey

Can we just take a minute to talk about the impact amazing musicians have when they come together and collaborate on sick things?! Hear me out. It’s the music, yes, but it’s not just the music…
.
Listening to Benny and Jeff chat about the work they are doing for Punk Rock Saves Lives Writing Project and how excited they are to be collaborating with each other and a ton of other amazing artists was pretty mind blowing. I’m really looking forward to seeing what they have been working on when this gets released to the world. I encourage you to follow @prslwritingproject to learn more about their mission and listen to this chat from Ska the Lot on our YouTube (bio4⛓️‍💥).
.
Of course, we’d love to see them start a band, too! Who rounds out this supergroup for you? Tell us in the comments and don’t forget to give them a name!

Last night was so damn fun! First, we had a new volunteer (who didn’t want to be pictured) join, which was so exciting for me. Then, we got to set up at @silkcitydiner, which I’d never been to but loved. Last but certainly not least, there was an incredible line up of bands. The good folks with @prslwritingproject invited and supported us - BIG thanks! All bands were so talented, fun, and just plain nice. We love this community. For now, we’ll be counting down the days till @camppunksylvania and making a shitload of bracelets (👀 last photo)

📣We’re always down to set up for an event or show - reach out! 😊📣

We have had so much fun getting this chapter up and running with events in the last month! Here’s a schedule of where you can find us over the next month. As always, we’ll be swabbing cheeks for the national bone marrow registry, sharing 🖤free🖤 harm reduction supplies, and pointing folks to mental health resources + ending mental health stigma. Come stop by, say hi, grab a hug! There will be PRSL and pride-themed bracelets at the upcoming events 🖤🌈🫶 #punkrocksaveslives #harmreduction #punk #youmatter #prsl
