Biochar is like concrete. When you build a house, you don’t second guess the investment associated to the concrete, because it’s the foundation!

Biochar is an investment into the foundation of a soil ecosystem that needs to be completely recreated and restored to save money, reduce leaching , and grow healthier crops. This is called Regenerative Agriculture, and it’s not going away anytime soon.

BAR Biochar has been proven to hold water, retain nutrients, support beneficial microbes, and improve soil health for years to come.

Comment “oranges” and I’ll share the study 🤪🍊🙏🏻🌎🌱💦

Nutrients flow with water. Biochar stores water. Therefore, biochar has the ability to reduce nutrients (fertilizers) from leaching into the aquifer while improving soil health at the same time. Simple concept… massive implications for Florida agriculture and water quality.

UF/IFAS is full of passionate, dedicated students and researchers bridging bench science with commercial application and environmental stewardship. Huge gratitude to (future Dr.) Sam , Dr. Davie, and the UF team for their efforts today and over the past year. Thank God biochar is such a stable and simple form of carbon because it’s going to become one of the best bridges between farming, water restoration, and sustainability. This data will be public knowledge very soon … AFTER we reach the goal on our kickstarter in my bio (kidding but pls donate)

As a third generation citrus grower, I cannot accept that the industry which was once the backbone of the sunshine state is done, and fully believe that regenerative agriculture practices will be a necessity for the industry to revive.

University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) released some of the first Florida based biochar research yesterday, highlighting how biochar can support citrus production during droughts. This is a massive step towards showing, through data, how regenerative practices can support Florida’s agricultural industries during times of strict water shortages. (Link in comments)

We are grateful for this collaborative support bridge building across the state, and eager to deploy more of our BAR Biochar into research projects across the world. #biochar #soilhealth #regenerativefarming #floridafarm #floridaag

She went ALL IN on her factory in 2019, which made sunblock & mask defog for cruise lines and scuba divers. Then Covid hit!
Autumn, owner of @stream2sea explains how she adapted (in a matter of days) to making hand sanitizer. This literally saved her business. 🤯🤿💪 #survivor #scubadivingislife #scubadiver #stream2sea #sustainability #sweetwaterscuba

Such a fun night at the Peace River Valley CGA Annual Meeting! It was another great opportunity to interact with the industry and hear about the positives, and some of the struggles, that citrus growers are experiencing right now. Thank you @emmakelller for inviting me to such a well-done event and for showing me the warmest hospitality. & of course, thank you for picking my winning raffle ticket for the Dyson Airwrap 😍
