September was Something Something but still managed to get out and try to be a regular civilian.

had a good number of juicy wines, sank my favourite slushie to celebrate a birthday, ate lots of dim sum, got a shark cocktail for science, new favourite candy combination and sunshine, cling wrap defeating brain fog, mezcal margarita bowls and good tokens!

Sydney CBD is more than office towers and after-work drinks, with some of the city’s best restaurants, tiny cocktail bars, specialty coffee and some seriously good shopping packed between the skyscrapers.

Spend the day grabbing coffee, shopping your way through the city, stopping somewhere good for lunch, then head underground for dinner and drinks that turn into a late night.

Here’s your cool friend’s guide to Sydney CBD.

Life feels so much louder and quieter at the same time since I moved down the road. For someone with an endless social battery, working 3 hospo jobs and living with 60 people in a hostel, I thought I’d be fine.

Turns out I was missing real connection, sleep and the freedom to choose.

Now between tastings, trainings and long night walks, second hand strolls and sunset views, I finally feel like I’ve found my place in the industry - and it feels exactly where I need to be right now 🍸

Cheers to lovetending in Sydney, I can’t wait to meet y’all! 🥂✨

To get that retro aesthetic just right, we took our design cues from old-school ice cream trucks and Sydney’s vintage double decker buses. A mobile cocktail van from the past, fully equipped for the here and now.

We’re taking enquires for this summer! Hit the link in bio or send us a DM to find out more about how we can help out with your next cocktail event

PRAVAAS 2.0 is going to be all about celebrating some unique and lesser known treasures that deserve some spotlight. A few to name are; Coorg’s wonderfully tart Kachampuli, bengal’s rich date palm jaggery - Nolen gur , and Dhruv’s phenomenal house made Choley masala with the unmistakable chaat style punch.
These are little peices of heritage and memories, adding plenty of flavour to the dishes on our menu.
Come and taste the stories behind our food.
PRAVAAS 2.0 - take over at PS40 on 15th and 22nd September. See you there! #sydneyeats #indianfood

The Roco Ramen takeover at @ps40bar is this coming Tuesday!
My old mentor and good friend Josh (@newmoonfishing ) just dropped off these stunning Kanpachi (Amberjacks). We’ll be dry-aging and scorching them for a special Tataki add-on with chicken jus and horseradish. The frames and heads are going straight into the base of our Moreton Bay Bug croquettes, topped with shaved raclette.
There is nothing better than bringing incredible Northern Rivers produce down to the CBD. See you on Tuesday, Sydney!
