Every year, PS58 relies on our community to join in one collective fundraiser known as the Direct Appeal. It’s not complicated: the money we fundraise together helps every student at PS58 experience the joys that come from well-stocked classrooms and awesome programming like Ballet Tales, The Met Opera & Alvin Ailey residency programs, and more. Our time is limited as we need to end the fundraising on February 29th. Won’t you help? Tap the link in our bio to donate. Thanks :)

From bakesales to school merch, there are many ways to support PS58, but there’s nothing as direct as the Direct Appeal, the PS58’s sole, direct fundraiser. So while there’s nothing like a cupcake made by a kid, there’s also nothing like a well-funded school. Tap the link in our bio to donate!

On Wednesday, PS58’s first graders took center stage to showcase their creativity after an incredible in-school residency with the Alvin Ailey Dance program! ( @alvinailey ) Since November, students explored dance as a form of artistic expression, drawing inspiration from Alvin Ailey’s legacy. The children brought their hard work and imagination to life with a performance that left us all in awe! We couldn’t be more proud of our young dancers and are so grateful to the families who support the PS58 PTA. Your generous donations help make experiences like this possible for our students, fueling their creativity and growth. ✨ Please help PS58 continue special arts programming by donating to the PTA’s Direct Appeal fundraising effort. Meet Liz. Liz supported the #PS58community by attending the Spring 2024 Auction Fundraiser where she won the extreme privilege of entering today’s Rummage Sale FIFTEEN minutes before the public! This allowed Liz to get first choice of the of the best-of-the-best at the Rummage Sale. Jealous of Liz? Everyone is! Make sure you attend this year’s Auction Fundraiser for your chance at winning pre-entry for next year’s Rummage Sale.
