🎶 Two ensembles. More ways to sing. We’re excited to introduce VocaLab, a brand-new vocal ensemble at Portland State University! VocaLab is a place to build your skills and find your voice as an ensemble singer. Explore pop, jazz, and contemporary music while developing harmony singing, musicianship, stylistic versatility, sight-singing, and confidence performing with a group. No previous sight-singing or music-reading experience is required. Looking for the next challenge? Vocal Collective is PSU’s intermediate/advanced jazz and contemporary vocal ensemble, designed for singers ready to take their ensemble singing, improvisation, musicianship, sight-reading, and performance skills to the next level. Whether you’re building your foundation or ready to push your artistry further, there’s a place for you in PSU Jazz & Contemporary Vocal Ensembles. 🎤 Auditions and screenings are open for both VocaLab and Vocal Collective!
