R.E.S.E.T. on Marion Barry Avenue || a collaborative wellness experience designed to give participants an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and reset their energy through movement, mindfulness, creativity, and connection with horses curated by @thestandfoundation__

Grateful to be able to hold space and provide a creative outlet for the community with Cuts Hut 🛖

Though the weather posed a challenge this day, community banded together to make this a memorable event. Always interesting how it inspires us to lean in to help each other more, to have more patience, to be mindful and in awe of its power.

Was great working alongside @browneyedgirlyoga @bold_yoga_collective and @pswellness.me

Peace 2 MelonNation! Happy 1 Year Anniversary @dolmarkets @doldc

We had the pleasure to provide the community with our fresh seeded melons and cold-pressed juices during the celebration last Friday 🎉

We have to pour into those doing the work in our communities. It is not easy work and that gives us more of a reason to slow down and celebrate how far we have come.

Blessings to many more 🌱🌎

What does “home” mean to you?

That was the guiding question at @theherdinstitute’s 10th Anniversary Coming Home to The HERD conference in Columbus, OH this weekend.

We leaned into the idea that home has multiple definitions. Home is the physical spaces we occupy. Home is the people and animals we love. Home is familiar food and traditions from our childhood. For our animals, home is the routine and agency we offer them. And for so many of us in the equine-assisted services industry, home is the profound sense of belonging we feel when we gather in like-minded community.

Having experienced this community as a student, graduate, staff member, and now as part of the conference planning team, seeing many years of hard work come together was a treat. What a joy it was to reconnect with old friends, meet internet friends IRL, hear from incredible presenters, and of course, spend time with some fabulous horses (thanks to @tacobellafarm & @dreamsonhorseback).

This weekend marked the end of a busy conference season, my third in two months. My cup is full, I’ve racked up airline miles, and I’m more than ready for some well-deserved couch time (but it’s deadline week so that will have to wait a few days!)

This weekend at the @theherdinstitute conference was balm to the soul! So glad I got to hang with these ladies.

Knowing that a couple of them are going to speak at @kinshipcon just fills my heart with joy.
