Writing as JT LeRoy has allowed me to integrate the parts of myself which I could not express what I needed to under my own name. But, my forthcoming memoir will be under my own name.

Late to the party but HEAVY TRAFFIC was not to blame. Patrick McGraw knows how to produce a fascinating reading that also serves as a cultural study.

The moody ocean view, the double documentary film crews, the gracious hospitality all took a backseat to the readings.

Riska Seval gave S.F. its own billboard (Live fast, die young. Welcome to the Bay.) followed by
Max Novendstern tangling with the Torah and AGI (may need to hear that one again) followed by
Laura Albert with an excerpt from her upcoming memoir.

There’s a lot of talk about what architecture can do. There are grand, sweeping promises of urban development by means of walls and corridors. But ‘Jester House,’ the work of speculative fiction and design by Patrick McGraw, Liam Denhamer and Juvenilia, points to the collapse of the ideals of architecture, an elucidation of how frequently the shelter we build fail to serve. Through the lens of one Jester House’s residents, the work follows hostile architecture and its proliferating effects on it inhabitants.
