⁠Daria Borisova, born in Russia, is a London based, curator and art advisor. Her work focuses on young and emerging, as well as established artists who inspire progressive understanding and promote lasting change. With an emphasis on transparency and education, Borisova has built collections for prominent private and corporate clients. She maintains relationships with philanthropists, organizations and art industry luminaries.
In her curatorial work, Borisova seeks to utilize non-traditional spaces to create immersive exhibitions and present emerging artists that often work in new media. Her most recent curatorial work includes: Global Call for Artists in partnership with W1 Curates x Amplifier – a digital public art installation in London, Winter Show at Harlesden High Street Gallery in London, House of Togetherness in London and Alla Gorka: Heroine presented by White Ribbon in Ukrainian Parliament and America House Kyiv.

This project is, personally, is a very special one for me. As a founding ambassador for @beautyforfreedom I've seen the difficulties our founder Monica Watkins, a woman of color, has faced.

Artnet has supported me, the exhibiting artists and our mission from the beginning and it's not always easy to get behind movements that center themselves around social issues such as racial injustice. For International Women's day I wanted to pay tribute to 3 special women (and a special mention) whom I had the immense pleasure to work, collaborate or simply exchange with in the recent months.

@bfarahnick is the founder of @theartcircle.ae a group of women art collectors promoting artists and art institutions related to the middle east and who have featured so many women in their various events, talks, etc. I have been their editing contributor for a few months now and the moderator for some of their talks... and I am loving it !!!

@alecastrorioseco whom I had the chance to interview just a few days ago for The Art Circle, is the Founder and Director of MIA Art collection (@miaartcollection) who is the first women artist online museum... featuring hundreds of wonderful female artists... Women representation here is 100%!!! A special mention to Daria Borisova of @punh with whom I connected Alejandra for a great article for The Art Gorgeous (another art wondergirl for sure!!)

Last but not least, Aiste is the founder and director of @luxeat, an upscale foodies website, news letter, blog, etc with a particular love for all things Japan! I had the chance to collaborate with Aiste recently on Japanese art after wonderful conversations about our common love for the depth of Japanese philosophie.

I am just a small drop in the ocean of their success of course but I am proud to have brought my contribution to a better balance between all of us in this world...

‘Restoration: Now or Never’ is a public art exhibition, opening on June 1st, 2021, organised by Anne Verhallen and Daria Borisova, in collaboration with SaveArtSpace. The exhibition, spanning across London advertisement spaces - billboards, kiosks and bus shelters - is in conjunction with World Environment Day in the UK, a day committed to encouraging awareness and action to protect our environment.

Participating artists include: Stefan Bruggemann, Zhang Huan, Coco Capitán, Tabita Rezaire, Wang Yuyang, Khari Turner, Fred Tomaselli, and Formafantasma.

The public art exhibition 'Restoration: Now or Never' is now on view!

Co-organized by @saveartspace, Anne Verhallen @anne_verhallen and Daria Borisova @puhn, the exhibition is presented on bus stops and billboards throughout London, UK.

Working with a group of next-generation curators the exhibition brings together 22 artists from all mediums in response to the current climate crisis.

'The Hope That Carries a Flower' by Coco Capitán is one of the included artworks in the show that hopes to reconnect the public after months of lockdown, to bring attention to the world’s climate crisis, and pay tribute to Mother Earth!

See Coco Capitán's artwork on 82 Baker St in Marylebone.

All artworks will be shown in an online exhibition on @artatatimelikethis for the public outside of London.
