Yesterday I visited Black Sheep Brewery in Masham. What a place. The famous Yorkshire squares still in action, sat in one of the most beautiful villages in Yorkshire. And a team that, after what must have been an incredibly tough few years, were upbeat, positive and full of energy. That doesn’t happen by accident. GBDC are now the custodians of North Brewing, a brand we built from nothing. It’s been quite a journey. But I left Masham feeling genuinely optimistic. The thing that made North Brewing, Black Sheep, Saltaire and Purity special was never just the equipment or the recipes. It was the people, the culture and the genuine belief in what they were making. Get that right and everything else follows. #blacksheepbrewery #northbrewing #craftbeer #yorkshire #hexagonstrategy

Looking for something new if you normally drink London Pride or Draught Bass? Pure UBU from Purity Brewing keeps everything that's great about a classic English amber ale: balanced malt, gentle bitterness and incredible drinkability—but adds a fresher, more modern twist. If you enjoy traditional British beer but fancy something with a little more flavour, this is well worth trying. 🍺 Have you tried Pure UBU? What's your favourite modern British Ale? Let me know in the comments below 👇
