Who doesn’t love fresh-cut flowers? Swing by our store over the weekend and come check out our newest pop-up vendor @purplepetalproject to see what’s in bloom! All arrangements are locally grown using regenerative, low-impact growing practices. By choosing locally grown flowers, you’re supporting healthier soils, biodiversity, and a small local business rooted in community. Every bouquet is an invitation to slow down and enjoy what’s blooming here, right now. Flowers will be available for purchase Saturday 7/11 and Sunday 7/12!

Now that I’m hiring for a flower farm apprentice (link in bio!), I’m reflecting on the interns, volunteers, and WWOOFers who have gotten their hands dirty with me over the years. It’s a lot of hard work along with a lot of learning and flowers 🌸 My camera roll is a mess, and I don’t remember everyone’s handle, so this is only a small fraction of the crew over the past 15 years, but know each set of hands has been appreciated! I especially love seeing folks who started as novices now working in horticulture programs, designing wedding florals, or founding their own flower farms ☺️ Tag someone who might want to help out at a West Philly micro farm!

A reminder that the application window for our 2026 Floral Cohort is open now through March 10th.⁣ ⁣ Each cohort is an intimate community where you’ll learn just about everything you need to know about sustainable floristry. If you’re a budding floral professional or even a more seasoned one who struggles to find community and financial success, this in-person program is for you. ⁣ ⁣ Sarah @petal_and_bloom_florist had been a home studio florist for a few years before joining the cohort last year. Here’s what she has to say about her experience:⁣ ⁣ “Being part of the Love n Fresh Floral Cohort program was one of the best decisions I’ve made in recent memory. ⁣ ⁣ The training is truly incredible - each session includes a practical element like hand-tied bouquets using the spiral technique, wearables like boutonnieres and corsages, and larger items like urn arrangements and installations (our group did both a floral chandelier and a full chuppah in one session!). ⁣ ⁣ Additionally, each session includes an in-depth discussion on one or more aspects of running a floral business, whether you’re a florist-farmer, event florist, or retail florist. Visiting alums also offered their own experiences and journeys and answered our questions with honesty and grace. ⁣ ⁣ By far, the most valuable part of this program was both the expertise and encouragement from Jennie and the camaraderie and support of the rest of the cohort. Our cohort became very close, and we still communicate weekly on the group chat and get together to support each other as freelancers or just cheerleaders. ⁣ ⁣ I have absolutely no regrets about participating in this program and believe that it made me a better florist and business owner!”⁣ ⁣ Could you use a floral community to solidify your launch into floristry as a profession? Submit an application to join the next cohort. 🔗 in bio.

Self-care check-in… ✨ Had my first ever micro-needling appointment on Halloween - and yes, all those brown spots (stay till the end) you see are normal. They’re actually sun damage + pigmentation rising to the surface so your skin can finally release it. This is the part no one talks about… but it’s the magic of real skin healing. 🤍 Microneedling boosts collagen, triggers repair, and brings up what’s been hiding underneath - so your skin can come back brighter, firmer, and more even. Skincare is self-care… and self-care is soul care. ✨ 🪧If you’ve been waiting for a sign to invest in your skin, this is it 🤌 Chrissy & the whole crew at @elle_curederepos_mainline are truly the best (female-owned + the most nurturing experience). 💫 ✨ PROMO: Book a SkinPen Microneedling session at either Cure location @curederepos @elle_curederepos_mainline ➕mention this post to receive a complimentary professional peel ($60 value). Valid through November 30, 2025. Your skin (and your spirit) will thank you. 🤍 #microneedling #skinpen #skincarejourney #post1111 #selfcareday #restishealing #reikihealing #skinrenewal #glowingskin #womeninbusiness #ardmorepa #phillyspa #curederepos

It’s hard to express how much this group of women have impacted this journey I’ve undertaken the past two years. I came into this cohort needing camaraderie, support, and the knowledge that I also didn’t have crazy questions about this beautiful and intense industry. I found all of that and more with these 5 women. I can’t wait to see what we all do with everything learned from Jennie and from each other. @lovenfreshflowers @purplepetalproject @phlorita.philly @shadyoaksflowerfarm @bubblyhillsfarm

Six months ago we were strangers coming together to learn advanced design techniques and different aspects of the floral industry. Now we are friends who lean on each other for support, ideas, and care as we grow our flower businesses. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of women to learn from and with. Thank you to our fearless leader Jennie from @lovenfreshflowers for bringing us together and being the best teacher.

The 2025 Floral Cohort program came to a close today. I was so impressed with this cohort’s ability to gel and work so closely together. @petal_and_bloom_florist @purplepetalproject @phlorita.philly @bubblyhillsfarm and @shadyoaksflowerfarm created a stunning chuppah and floral chandelier full of dahlias and other seasonal stunners for their final project together. It was bittersweet to bring this cohort to a close, but I know these relationships are going to last a lifetime. 💜 Philly florists, all of these talented humans are great freelancers too! Hit them up!
