first slide, books in a colour-wheel? idk, it's a bookish challenge? should i tag some ppl? i haven't posted in like 3 weeks lol
other slides... what life is like lately amidst ongoing g***cide

bc its important? and i know i'm preaching to the choir. after 19 months of waking up daily to more dead children, if ur still reading my posts, you're a real one ๐Ÿ˜˜

bc its important. we share our posts, write our letters, make our donations, we boycott and we do our best with our lives. we know that joy is resistance.ย and gods, we know, its a privilege. we know that others aren't fortunate enough to be able to step out when they need to. we do our best to use our privilege well.

bc its important! we are surrounded by a maelstrom of suffering. and we hide from it, isolating ourselves, protecting our peace. we have forgotten that the first thing we do on this earth is to scream, to howl out in our pain and our despair. we are all connected by grief, by rage, by torment.

bc speaking out is important! after 19 months, if you're still not sure why i won't just let it go, then let me assure you that if it was your kids trapped under the rubble, i wouldn't let that pass either.ย the people suffering are not strangers. they are our brothers, sisters, cousins, neighbours, friends.ย they are us. i feel sorry for those people so isolated that they cannot see themselves in Palestine, in Sudan, in Congo, in the oppressed and the downtrodden everywhere.

feel the feelings. accept the hurt. join humanity. free Palestine.

please like, comment, share and donate if you can ๐Ÿ™

โ€œAfter you left,
I picked up the broken pieces of us
That loved each other.โ€
๐Ÿ€Book - Dance in Dreams
๐Ÿ€ Author - Udisa Das

Poetry is like a drop of water that soothes your throat when you are thirsty.

Filled with love, romance, and heartbreak, this collection of poems takes you deep into the heart of love.

Love is not just a four-letter wordโ€”itโ€™s a whole universe, a universe filled with hope, dreams, and heartbreaks. When a heart full of love sets out in search of its destiny, it finds happiness, sorrow, and pain along the way. It meets people who long for that love, and when you offer them your heart, they leave it shattered into pieces.

Sometimes, love feels like a strangerโ€”we desire it, but when we have it, it seems hollow and unreal.

Love is like a dreamโ€”beautiful yet fragile. We can truly see it only with closed eyes, not open ones. It is a mystery, wrapping us in the scent of the one we adore.

Love is like an old fragranceโ€”you can still feel its presence even after years. Sometimes, it feels like a best friend, haunting you even after a long time has passed.

This beautifully written book, We Dance in Dreams, is a soul-stirring collection of poetry and prose by the young debut author Udisha Das.

The author has delicately expressed her thoughts, presenting them as a bouquet of both prose and poetry.

While reading, you are transported into a world where everything revolves around you and your loveโ€”some smiles, some tears, but all deeply personal.

The simple yet poetic language makes this an easy and enjoyable read, with soulful lines that stay with you long after you finish the book.
