Bby’s first 5K 🥹🥹 What started as a conversation with my ultra marathon running coworker a few months ago has resulted in me finishing my first 5K race. I’m so proud of myself. Little Jocelyn whose soccer coach thought she had asthma would be proud! 😂 My time was 53 minutes which I’m honestly okay with. There was unexpected terrain AND long inclines 😮‍💨
I never thought that I would be a runner. But I did it. All the early mornings. All the times we ran in the rain. All the times we ran when we didn’t feel like it. It all brought us to this point. This is proof that I can do hard things. I said I wanted to do it and I did it. I didn’t try to do it. I didn’t think about doing it. I didn’t plan on doing it. I just did it. Nike was really onto something when they said just do it. I love that I’m becoming the kind of person who does what they said they’re going to do. I am that kind of person. But I couldn’t have done it without my fellow Violet Vroom Vroom @charlee__xoxo ! Thanks for being the best running buddy!
I think my next goal is going to be getting my mile time down. I guess I’ll be doing speed runs with the beans on toast man! 🫘 🍞

➡️➡️STORY TIME
.
So some time AGO, a successful young woman saw herself in a totally new light, seeing something in the mirror that she’d never thought she’d see on herself.
.
Second to the last slide “who is thissss” is what she was saying, you can be too💪🏾
.
.
So moral of this story is…MAKE THE ‘POINTMENT💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️
