POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The world only has one. The jewel of the United States, right here in Florida. 🌎🌾

The Everglades. Our home. And a place we can never replace.

From above, this tree head looks like an island in an endless green ocean. Around it stretches the sawgrass prairie, a wetland that holds water much of the year, with freshwater slowly making its way through the River of Grass.

That “grass” is actually a sedge, named for the tiny, sharp teeth along its blades. The tree islands scattered across this landscape provide pockets of shelter for wildlife among the open marsh.

There’s life in every direction, even when all you see is grass.

Growing up here, you learn that the beauty goes far beyond a sunset. It’s the water, the wildlife, the quiet, and the feeling that a piece of wild Florida still exists.

Share this with someone who needs to see why it’s worth protecting. 💚

They came to see the alligators. But this is the part I hope they remember. 💚

Baby American alligators swimming alongside a big Florida softshell turtle in a gator hole, somewhere in the middle of the Everglades. A father, a son, and a mom getting to watch that little world together.

No big production. Just wild Florida giving them a moment they couldn’t have planned.

I take families out here every day, and watching them connect with this place never gets old. They start noticing the little things. Asking questions. Sharing that excitement with each other. And I get to watch them discover why this place means so much to me.

The Everglades raised me. Sharing it is how I help people understand why it’s worth protecting.

One day, that son might bring his own family here and say, “My dad brought me out here when I was younger.”

I hope there are still baby alligators in that hole. Still wild places to explore. Still a chance to make that memory again, from the other side.

Protect their home. Protect the chance to share it with the people we love. 🐊

The older I get, the more I realize how rich this place has made me.

Running a trail through the sawgrass. Slowing down to watch a mama gator and her babies. Staying out a little longer because you just can’t pull yourself away from that sunset.

The Everglades raised me. It gave me a childhood, a way of life, and something I get to share with my son. And after all these years, I still have moments out here where I stop and think… I can’t believe this is home.

I want him to bring his kids down these same trails someday. To watch those little alligators swim back to their mama. To sit under a sky like this and understand why we cared so much.

That future is worth protecting.

There’s still so much here to love. Please don’t let us love it only after we’ve lost it. 🌾🐊

You ever see something so beautiful it makes you scared to lose it?

The sawgrass opens up, the sunset stretches across the water, and for a minute, everything weighing on you feels a little smaller.

I grew up out here, and this place still makes me stop and take it all in. That feeling of being exactly where you’re supposed to be. Home.

This is the Florida I want my son to grow up knowing. Somewhere he can go when the world gets too loud. Somewhere that still makes him feel like this.

One day, we’ll be the ones telling stories about how Florida used to be. I hope we can still take our kids out here and show them.

Protect what we have left. There’s still so much worth holding on to.

Send this to someone who knows exactly what this feels like.

This is the FloridaThis is the Florida we’re fighting to protect.

From the American alligators and wading birds to the turtles, deer, and countless native species that call the Everglades home, every one of them has a place in this ecosystem.

For generations, these wild lands have been our backyard, our playground, and our home.

Now we’re watching the Florida we grew up loving change right before our eyes.

At Airboat Adventures Everglades, we’re blessed to spend our days surrounded by incredible native wildlife, sharing the real Florida Everglades with people from around the world.

But it’s about more than airboat tours and beautiful scenery. It’s about protecting a way of life and an ecosystem that can’t simply be replaced.

One day, our children will inherit what’s left. What kind of Florida are we leaving them?

🌾 Protect the Everglades. Keep Florida wild.
