Highlights from my performance at the @smiletrain Orange County chapter Benefit Concert over the weekend! So many people helped me prepare for this. Special shoutout to my directors Mrs. Youngsook Kang and Sujung Kim. Thank you @michaelorland for the beautiful accompaniment track and helping me fit all of my favorite songs in the most genius way (pro shot of full performance in the actual order will be posted on my YouTube soon) and @natwisdom and @q_lim who give me tremendous support from all the way across the country!
I am incredibly honored to have performed for @smiletrain - an organization that provides 100% free cleft surgery and comprehensive care, bringing life changing smiles to children all over the world. Thank you for letting me share my passion for such a meaningful cause along with the most talented and supportive fellow musicians and volunteer members.

2016….we lived in the same city, long hair, wispy scarves were”in,” my man had grade A scruff, and I got my equity card.

2016 was an epic year for me. I booked and started playing a role I’d been auditioning for for a decade (Christine in POTO, obviously), did King and I with two fantastic casts, made some @themuny magic, performed at Bryant Park and on @goodmorningamerica, had quality time and delightful shenanigans with friends, family, and my favorite fur-child Mia Belle, had a Bway snow day with @kyweise and @abbybal and worked with the brilliant and much missed Lee Blakely, Hal Prince and Rebecca Luker. Please enjoy this walk down memory lane (in reverse order), I know I have! ❤️

Voice cracks! Happens to the best of us— especially at the beginning of our singing journeys! But with training, you can learn to move gradually through your entire range without any cracks, breaks, flips, or gaps. Doing these exercises daily with our amazing associate teacher Q Lim is a great way to start 🤭
.
Book a virtual lesson with Q, or any of our EKM teachers, at our website today!
