In a room with @oprah

I’m incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to be in the room with Oprah during the taping of her podcast here in Boston, Massachusetts.

The conversation surrounding the Lindsay Clancy case was incredibly heavy, emotional, and thought-provoking. Being there in person, listening to perspectives from medical experts, legal scholars, and women with lived experiences of postpartum psychosis gave me so much to learn and reflect on.

But on a personal level… being in the same room with Oprah was one of those moments where I looked around and thought, wow, I’m really here. 🥹

I’ve watched and admired her for years, so having the opportunity to sit in that audience, listen, learn, and witness how she leads such a difficult conversation is something I’ll remember for a very long time.

A special thank you to @iamjulianadez for giving me this opportunity and making it possible for me to be in that room. 🤍

Still grateful. Still learning. And definitely still a little starstruck.

The Tall Ships are here! And Charlestown Navy Yard is one of the best places to experience them (through Wednesday 7/15)

A few things to know before you go:

-Boarding lines weren’t nearly as long as we expected, less than 5 min wait
-The ferry between Long Wharf and Charlestown had the longest line, but it moved pretty quickly
-Boston Harbor Bites food trucks & vendors are open daily from 10 AM–6 PM (ship viewing and public grounds stay open until 10 PM).
