Fitzrovia | Covent Garden. Life Changing Coffee | Pastries and Desserts Tailored for Perfect Pairing. Tree to Cup Concept Cafe of @qimacoffee

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little cafe worth discovering in Covent Garden.

The ambience at @qima.cafe is spot on, but come early because there’s almost always a queue!

We started with a V60 brewed with Colombian beans, and it was so good. Then we tried their Qishr and Ruby Latte, followed by the Yemeni Beef Short Rib Melt, which was amazing.

But the highlight for me? Their new brunch item, the Qima Hadhramaut Roasted Half Chicken. The chicken was so tender, and the combination of mushroom velouté, house gravy, and crispy potatoes made it such a comforting dish. Definitely something I’d order again.

And of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the pastries. Safe to say, they didn’t disappoint either.

Great coffee, comforting food, beautiful interiors, and a menu worth exploring. If you’re in Covent Garden, put Qima Cafe on your list.

Have you been yet, and what would you order first?

Qima (fitzrovia, london): Home of my favourite fruity coffee beans. recently got a very nice almond croissant and flat white here!! heavy on the almond filling - it spilled everywhere but I appreciated it, especially as it was on the expensive side!! also got a cinnamon bun for takeaway. pastries were better than the cinnamon bun (miel cinnamon bun has my loyalty) but pastries still delicious. and it was a nice bun to have with my coffee at home. I’ve also included a selection of other qima pastries in my camera roll from a while ago. spent a lot of time writing my thesis here lol. admittedly an excellent study spot. what a time

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary yesterday with the most beautiful lunch at Rai in London. We went for the omakase menu with a few extra little treats, and honestly, every single dish was incredible. The whole experience just felt so special, especially having the entire restaurant to ourselves.

Afterwards, we went for matcha and coffee and spent the rest of the day enjoying our anniversary date together. A whole year of being married, and I still keep falling more in love with her as each day goes by. I am so grateful for the life that we have built and for the life that we are still building together, all the memories we've made, and all the ones still waiting for us to make together. I love you so much ♡

A little wander through Covent Garden, with a coffee stop at Qima. ☕️ @qima.cafe

Beautiful pastries, good coffee and, of course, taking far too many pictures before the first bite.

The pictures may look serious, but choosing pastries is clearly a very serious business. 😂🤎

Added this one to my London diary.

Looking for somewhere to grab a coffee after your lecture? 👀☕️

Found this little spot tucked around the main campus - loving the brick-red aesthetic interior ❤️‍🔥 The sofa seating is super comfy for a longer study session, with sockets available if you’re bringing your laptop 💻 There’s also outdoor seating for when the weather is nice 🍂

Their drinks are definitely worth checking out too - from ruby lattes and iced matcha to white chocolate hojicha 🍵✨

Fig Hojicha: 4.8/5 🤎
- the fig + hojicha combo works sooo well. A little overpriced? Maybe. Worth it during your first week back at uni? Absolutely 🥹
