🌈 Pride is important because someone somewhere still believes that they're better off de*ad than being themselves.
🌈 Pride is important because some kid somewhere still believes they're "abnormal" or "sinful" and deserves to be punished till they d*ie.
🌈 Pride is important because most countries in the world are again turning increasingly regressive in their LGBTQIA+ policy making today, risking countless queer lives / trans kids.
🌈 Pride is important because LGBTQIA+ rights are unquestionably #humanrights that are being flouted left, right and center even today!
🌈Pride is important because even in 2024 there are many countries where being a queer and/or same sex marriage and/or queer couples adopting kids are still illegal.
🌈 Pride is important because we need to protect our queer kids and adults and make room for dignified living for all human beings alike, regardless of their gender/sexual orientation.

@qjcollective is hosting a career exploration fair!

It is a virtual Zoom meeting where queer folks get to talk to queer professionals and network.

This is a product of my and my fellow interns giving our all to support this community and spread joy.
