Happy 13th Birthday Pretty Girl! Welcome to a new life chapter. I hope your teen days are kind to you. I know it won’t always be easy but just know you can always turn to me. Never doubt that. Promise to always keep your faith in the lord. Remember to live in the moment, it goes by way too fast. You have such a beautiful soul. Don’t ever let someone tell you otherwise. I love watching the woman you are becoming, you are absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I’m so excited to watch you continue to grow and achieve all that you are destined to achieve. You have all the talent you’ll ever need and your faith in Jesus to help you get there. I’m so proud to be your mom. Continue to do great things in life baby. I love you so much.

My names Joseph Braz or also known as @quackfein I am the founder of @marshstix!

Quick back story! I grew up waterfowl hunting the marshes, rivers, and lakes of the Central Valley In California. Like many I was introduced to it by my father as a small child, I can remember being knee tall standing at the back of the walnut orchards that lined the Merced river waiting for the next wood duck to roll in. Now I spend my winters chasing all things waterfowl in multiple states and As a grown man I’m just as eager as that boy waiting to hear those screeches rolling down the river.

As a kid I can remember my dad making the first marshstix and it started as a swifter handle with a utility hook and a simple piece of wood for you to rest your gun on. As years progressed we continued to upgrade it more and more. Making them for family and friends. With many request and enquirers I’ve decided to take my dads simple yet extremely effective gadget and produce it for those who love to chase these birds as much as we do.

Check us out and follow @marshstix

Missing these days already! 6 years ago I would have laugh if you were to have told me I’d be setting out goose spreads and having the time of my life doing. Duck season 2024 I can’t wait!

It saddens me to say that the 23/24 season has finally come a close. Thankful for the wild ride that chasing waterfowl provides to us crazy enough to do it.

From old friends to new ones made this year, I’m thankful for you all. Just a short 8 months until we are back doing what we love!
