Just a little reel of appreciation for a few of the lovely ladies who’ve added so much joy into my life. I couldn’t fit everyone in the reel due to the time limit and soooo much footage, but just know those who weren’t featured hold just as much life and love in my heart as those shown in the reel. 💜🙏🏾

Today is my two years PapaTedsVersary! When I walked in @papatedstruck during the lion's gate, I should have known magic was going to happen: community, creative sharing, support during and after business hours, lots of dancing, healing, and family. Thank you so much @dawnrichard and the Papa Ted's Krewe! ONE YEAR AGO TODAY — I released my 3rd music video “Where I Wanna Be” from my debut album. It’s still my favorite video I’ve ever created. The purpose of this video was to not only put out a great visual for the song, but to also honor my inner child that long for companionship in the most beautiful way. I always saw myself in love with somebody who truly not only loved me, but loved every aspect of my being. — I am depicted as a magical being in the video because that’s how i see myself. My power is boundless freedom, a light that shines from the soul and that is what my costar is drawn to…the freedom i possess within me. — I’m truly grateful for My costar @brand.e.photo, he came in and truly set the tone for the video. I told him to wear black and i would wear white because that solidified the union that was taking place as well as the double entendres for the Yin & Yang symbolism. — My dancers @quacfit & @itsme_madyb represented the balance of my emotions (passion & joy). My passion for love is expressed through Q., who gives you a strong perception of my emotions in a hard celebratory state, while Mady gives you a more softer approach to the way i am freely enjoying the moment, the joy. — You see me and Brandon on a set of stairs to kind of symbolize us meeting each other halfway in life, i was also giving a nod to @arianagrande because i truly loved her #sweetner era. Most of the setting of the video is placed in the sky or outer space because it represents what life can truly be like with me…the sky is not the limit, it’s only a step. — This video represents a balance between real and fantasy…of what i see and what i want to see… — thank you to my creative director and choreographer @shanda1922 for giving me the freedom of comfortability. I’m naturally a shy person and for you to come in and not only show me what i can do, but also believe in me…it feels good to have experienced that. — thank you @schoolingtalent …it feels so good to know y’all and i can’t wait to work with you all again on some amazing things coming up for me! — Thank you so much to everyone involved with making this video happen! I love y’all!

ONE YEAR AGO — I released the second music video “B.A.G.” from my debut album “Rebel”. Out of all the songs on the album, I’ve spent the least time on this one and its everyone’s go-to song from the album. Shouts out to my girl @kelsey.s.johnson for referring me to @jam.nola. I’m very thankful to you and everyone at JAMNOLA for working with me and my team on this wonderful vision. Much love to all the artists who lend their time and talents into each room we used in the video. (@milagrosyall / @chadsmith110) — much love to my girl @shanda1922 for not only providing the movement to the video, but the love and support i always feel working with you. Much love to my dancers @quacfit & @lah.hnae for really coming in and doing the damn thing! My baby @armintabennett who’s my emotional support — my videographer @mrstevn for helping me capture this epic moment. Much love to everyone who truly enjoy my music and journey. I’m always so grateful. 🙏🏾 #JAMNOLA
