In an industry that never really slows down…
I’ve learned how important it is to.
To step away.
To breathe.
To enjoy the moment without thinking about what’s next.
Because the truth is—
you can’t pour into your team, your guests, or your business
if you’re running on empty.
Taking time to reset isn’t a luxury.
It’s part of being able to show up better.
Learning to appreciate these moments a little more lately.

Before the title, there was the work.
Long days, heavy boards, sharp knives—no shortcuts, no room for mistakes.
This was one of those moments.
In the middle of the rush, fully locked in, just focused on getting it right.
What people see now might look different…
but this is still a part of how I move.
Because you don’t lead in this industry without understanding the work.
You don’t build strong teams without respecting the craft.
I’ve never been above it.
And I never will be.
Still building. Just from a different position.
