🌋 TOMORROW: Volcanic Wines Class 🌋
Sunday 10/4 | 3:30 to 5:30 PM

Fire, ash, and ancient eruptions. Some of the world’s most electric wines grow on ground that was once molten rock, and tomorrow we’re pouring our way across it.

🔥 The black slopes of Mount Etna, still smoking overhead
🌊 Wild vineyards on the Canary Islands, rising out of the Atlantic
⛰️ An Alpine corner of Piedmont sitting on the bones of an ancient supervolcano
🖤 California hillsides glittering with obsidian (natural volcanic glass)
🍂 Plus a few surprises from Oregon and the Veneto you won’t see coming

Six wines, one big question: what does a volcano actually taste like? Expect smoke, salt, and energy, and an exciting lineup full of surprises.

Seats are limited and this is the last call. Grab your ticket through the link in bio before they’re gone. 🎟️ You can also take a screenshot of this link and click to open it… technology!

It’s not a phase. 🍊
Orange wine is here to stay, and this weekend we’re taking you on a world tour to prove it.

Sunday, June 28, 5:00-7:00pm | The Royce Detroit

Skin-contact wines are one of the most exciting and enigmatic tcategories in the glass right now. Often deeper in color, richer in texture, and alive with a complexity that white wine drinkers rarely see coming. We’ll explore the full spectrum, from delicately kissed to boldly tannic, tracing how winemakers across the globe interpret this ancient technique in wildly different ways.

Join Connery and Bobby for a hands-on tasting that just might upend everything you thought you knew about white wine. Whether you’re an orange wine obsessive or completely new to the category, there’s a seat at the table for you.

What wines will we be pouring? That’s always a surprise. But trust us, you won’t be disappointed. (Wines pictured above are just examples from our shelves, not the class wines 😉)

Spots are limited. Link in bio to grab yours before they’re gone.

I’ve ushered in every new year since 2017 at @theroycedetroit , where we not just have a blast but host a raffle to raise money for a local charity. This year, it was for the @ruthelliscenter . A huge thanks to my team Bobby, Joe, Connery and Brian for helping put this fabulous shindig together. And to all my friends and guests who came out to support and carouse! It’s crazy that The Royce turns 10 years old this year. I’m grateful for making this far, for all the support, great times had, and the community we’ve been a part of. Happy 2026 everyone ❤️🍾🥂🌈

Tomorrow’s Wednesday tasting is all about those juicy late-summer Italian vibes 🇮🇹✨ Wed, Sept 17, 6:00-7:30pm.

Our GM & Wine Buyer, Bobby, will be pouring a fresh lineup that stretches from north to south. We’ll kick things off with a sparkling Prosecco Rosé from historic Rechsteiner in Veneto, then glide into Moris Farms’ bright and sea-breezy Vermentino from Tuscany. From there, we head south to Sicily for Cantina Cellaro’s bold and sun-soaked ‘Bacaro’ Nero d’Avola, before finishing along the Adriatic in the Marche region with Tenuta de Angelis’ Rosso Piceno Superiore—where Montepulciano and Sangiovese work their savory magic.

We thought about what *we’re* cooking in this gorgeous weather and picked some wines perfect for pairing with late-summer wines. ☀️ Think grilled seafood, herby pastas, roasted veggies, and charred meats on the patio—each glass a reminder that summer isn’t over just yet. Stop in, sip, and savor with us! ✨

Free and Fabulous Since 2016!

Come celebrate the Royce’s 9th Anniversary!!!

We are popping up with a full menu this Thursday, Aug 14th! Everyone has been asking about our money bag dumplings, and we heard ya!!!
💰 Money Bag Dumplings (Vegan AND Pork)
🍖 Wuxi Spareribs
🥔 Sauteed Potato Noodles (Vegan + GF)
🧊 Dessert TBD (working with Bobby to do something fun 😜)

A little backstory: I’ve been trying to share my dumplings with Ping @pingster since 2021 😂, before I even had a car!! She was one of the first people I was introduced to in Detroit. I was in absolute awe of everything she was building, and how much she knew about wine. Though initially I didn’t have any plans to be in the food industry, it feels like a full circle moment to be popping up at the Royce! Thank you for having Chi Fan Le be a part of the celebration 🎉
