THE ALPHA IS ALIVE! ✨

Nevada City’s long-empty Alpha Building came roaring back to life for the packed, two-day Nevada City Zero Waste Summit—and the possibilities for this space feel HUGE.

Councilmember Micayla Sortland filled the Alpha with bold ideas, local art, a Repair Café, a clothing and plant swap, giant puppetry, food, wine, beer, and hundreds of people imagining a less wasteful future. @repaircafenevadacounty @micaylaforcitycouncil

The Yuba Craft Retreat was such an amazing weekend.

We picnicked at the Yuba River to gather branches and rocks and turned our finds into woven branches and handmade bolos. We botanically dyed Field Day garments, made things with our hands all weekend, ate incredible food, and spent a lot of time getting to know each other.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to slow down, spend a long weekend crafting with a bunch of fascinating women, who traveled far and wide to get here.

Thank you to all of the wonderful local businesses and artists that helped make it happen.
