On Saturday the streak continued. My personal challenge of doing at least a half marathon as my longest run of every month of 2026 is still going strong. 10 down 2 to go. Had a little help from the lads this time. Running with ur mates makes it go much quicker. I feel really blessed that I have enough grit and determination in me that I’ve been so consistent with running over 2.5 years that I’m now a person who can get up on any day and just ‘do a half marathon’ don’t take no notice of runstagram… a half marathon is a wild distance to be able to run. Anyway… 2 to go… 🙏🏼

Another #medalmonday Number 12 for me at the wonderful @decathlonuk rundays with @kiprun what a joy to run alongside my mate @thelittletravis from @werunsouth as she ran her first 5K non stop and collected her first medal. Katie’s sprint finish at the end was very very Tommy Fury like 😝. Shout out to my club mates @questionablemiles @kavish_patel on securing yet more medals and @deedee_davina on a medal with a PB chaser! Lovely Sunday morning!

What a day! 10th event/medal for me but the first one I’ve ever run with mates… pals who I’ve made all in the last 6 months thru running. I’ve got some time goals of my own to deal with down the line but today was never about that… today I wanted to run alongside my mates and take it all in with them. Turned out our bro Kav was tryna hit sub 60… a huge 8 mins off his previous best so I decided to run alongside him and be moral support. Bro was dieing at 7K but to see him dig deep for 3 whole k and even sprint finish to achieve his sub 60 was so fucking ace. Very very rewarding day today. Lovely stuff ❤️🏅 @vitalitylondon10k @werunsouth

From an idea in my head… to people showing up, running together, laughing together, creating memories and now leading my community.

If you told me this at the start of this year I genuinely don’t know if I would’ve believed it was possible.

But somehow, four months later, I’m standing on a rooftop in Croydon, surrounded by a community that has slowly turned into something that feels like a little family. 🥹💚

We Run South has given me more than running.

It’s given me purpose.
Accountability.
A reason to keep showing up.
And a community that reminds me that sometimes you don’t need to have everything figured out to start building something meaningful.

Looking back at these clips from Rooftop Run, I can genuinely see how far we’ve come.

And the craziest part?

We’re only four months in.

This journey has already been beautiful, and I’m grateful for every single person who has played a part in it.
