⸻ We are thrilled to announce our resident at ✶ PISO TÉRMICO Residency ✶ ⚙️ Yelim Ki ⚙️ @quieraki Yelim Ki is an artist based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She collects discarded appliances and repurposes them into sculptural assemblages. Beyond their formal transformation, she programs lighting or vibration patterns that respond to the sonic environment. To her, physical debris is both a by-product of consumer society and a medium for the construction of technical instruments. Her practice also extends to filmmaking, exploring the temporal threshold at which something is deemed “valid” and how its withdrawn function can be reclaimed. 📸 @majo.donita

<Tin Function> by Yelim Ki, Rakuto Sano 28 Aug—3 Oct, 2026 <… 글 콘노 유키 @k40_hermione 서문중에서

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙧𝙠 With work by: Hanne van Dyck, Julie Jillissen, Yelim Ki, Lieke Mangindaan, Emma van Goor @hannevandyck, @emmavangoor, @lieke_m_ @ghoelie @quieraki 🟡This is the 7th exhibition in the framework of the Apprentice/ Master Program 2025-2026 of @kunstpodiumt 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙧𝙠: A bubble bath, a consultation room, waves of fear. Deadlike, on your back, arms next to your side or your stomach. You are deaf in this world. You are in another dimension now. Is there something that keeps you awake? When people can bomb one another, they can also walk the sky. A cheap melody is playing on top of it. Very ACOUSTIC. Often doomed as nonsensical noise of a tired brain, The Room Around Me Dark proposes imagining and dreaming as medicine against the nightmare of reason, linearity and hierarchy within our waking life. While dreaming, our minds move through imaginative landscapes. We find ways of recombining our waking reality in unlikely or even impossible formations, finding elasticity where the waking mind so often misses it. The dream space is unfettered by constraints of wakefulness, a thought on the edge of materialization. Messy, invading and visionary - revealing scraps of sounds, fragments of images and elusive emotions about what has been put to sleep by the colonial and capital producing monsters under our bed. _ 📍Kunstpodium T The exhibition lasts until july 26 #kunstpodiumtilburg #apprenticemasterprogram

🎉 Opening this Thursday: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙧𝙠: July 2. 19.00h On view 'till July 26. @kunstpodiumt. Time for you to meet the artists: 𝟭 | A monster lurks under Julie's bed; is it a familiar one? Julie Jillissen @ghoelie is a writer, illustrator, and filmmaker. In their work, Julie explores how an overload of information affects everyday life. She translates her observations and experiences into visual stories with a magical realist or absurdist edge. 🎨RUIS, 2025 filmstill 𝟮 | Embodied, present, ecstatic, like it wants to beat through you: a lasting encounter of intense feeling, a creator of worlds. @emmavangoor is an interdisciplinary artist and curator fascinated by witchcraft, the dunes and women’s history. Her practice is ever-evolving and consists of media such as installation, photography, video, textile and writing. 🎨I saw a man on instagram in a hospital bed on fire and the flames started licking at my feet 𝟯 | Lieke Mangindaan @lieke_m_ weaves humans, more-than-humans and materials into constellations. Through world building, ecological storytelling and communal gatherings, her work becomes a portal to reimagine relations, ranging from the personal to the planetary. The stories that are fabulated want to relocate us to radical care and restoration of the Earth and the beings she carries. 🎨Ocean Amnesia, 2025, film & installation 🎨Taking Root Among The Stars 2026, film 𝟰 | Yelim Ki @quieraki collects industrial scraps and reassembles them into luminous instruments, granting obsolete objects a new ontological status. Her work interrogates consumer society's byproducts, questioning the unstable criteria of value and at what threshold a discarded existence can be reclaimed. 🎨 Kora, 2026 𝟱 | @hannevandyck's works across textile, text, installation and performance. At the core of her work lies an interest in liminal spaces and humans’ relation to more-than-human worlds, including land and spirits. This takes shape through exploring and mapping a porous and intimate relation between inner landscapes and geological ones, such as volcanic craters, mountain bodies, or descent motifs. 🎨Autobiography of a Volcanic Force, 2025 Meet Julie
