Hey y’all! 💫💚

I’m very excited to announce the release of my second album this year and the first under my new alias @mist_53. This music is quite a departure from my last release and was made in one rainy week this March. I’m so excited for y’all to hear this new direction, and to let this music guide you through your inward journeys.

To celebrate, @corbincary and I are hosting a release party at @communitygarden.austin from 7-11pm on Thursday, Oct 15! We’ll both be DJing throughout the night, and I’ll be sharing a very special live set of this new music.

🌫️ For fans of: meditative states, psychoactive experiences, hazy atmospheres, and fogged out warehouses.

Respect to all who bought records this year and supported the label or magazine in any capacity. It’s been a massive honor to work with artists I admire like @djsakee @konalgad @diannovpamungkas @fingersofgod @kamoun_sounds and put out their music for the world to hear. Rest assured there will be a slew of exciting releases to share in the new year.

This year also brought Dance Data to new places in the world — Indonesia, China, Tennessee, Guanajuato, Puebla, Austin… Couldn’t be more grateful to all the wonderful promoters and friends who put their faith in the sound. We also ended the year with our first DIY event in NYC in collaboration with @earthdogrec and @lifesavers_nyc which was long overdue, so hopefully we can continue with more local events in the new year as well.
