Miami Vice era Palm Springs meets our 80s personas: Vic, Andie & Sloane. (A nod to my huge crush on Sloane, Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend - she was way too good for him 🙄) I’m so grateful for friends that think naming our personas for the night is a great idea and also new friends who photoshoot in the kiddie pool and eat popcorn with chopsticks. The Motel 87 pride party at @theabbeymaine ‘s was perfection 👌🏳️‍🌈

Seeing a new provider can be a little scary sometimes .. we’ve all been there. Here are just a few things that I hold with integrity that you can expect at every visit with me.

1. OPEN DIALOGUE REGARDING GOALS
At every visit, but especially the first one, we will spend at least 5 minutes chatting about what is bringing you in for massage and what goals (long and short) that you have. Being on the same page here is vital for me to ensure you have exactly the type of work done that you want/need.

2. CONSENT & SAFETY
If your massage therapist isn’t doing this every session, might be time to say goodbye. It is a vulnerable position to be in laying on a massage table. It is my responsibility to gain consent from you before placing my hands on your body and to ensure that you feel safe with my touch. This could be related to trauma, or it could simply be that you’re ticklish and don’t like your feet touched, for example. And this can change from one session to the next so I will always check if there are any areas off limits today. This also means you have permission to say no to any thing at any time - even once we’ve already started.

3. YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR SESSION
I may be the one performing the work, but this is YOUR session. Too cold? Need more pillows? Pressure not quite right? I’m pretty intuitive, but can’t read your mind if there is something that would help make your session even better. This time is about you and what you want and need. I may have suggestions for what might help, but ultimately if you just want to relax, then that’s what you will get!

Anxiety and concern around massage is valid, AND I would hate for that to keep you from giving your body some relief. I hope this helps!!

Be Well,
Meg 🫶🏻

Welcome to the easiest way to make sure you are taking care of your body …

I offer three levels of bundles to meet each of you where you are at. By purchasing a bundle, you will save $10 per session AND you will already have your next several massages scheduled and paid for.

It’s a no brainer, really! Link in bio to my website for purchasing, DM if you have any questions!!

Be Well,
Meg 🫶🏻

It’s funny to see what they find curious about the snow. They remind me to look at the little things ❄️

A little September weekend recap. ☀️

Brought a first-timer to Luna Rooftop Bar @lunaportlandme

Watched Liam have some awesome at bat moments as a 14 yo in 16u fall ball league.

I really love Portland Trail systems. @portlandmetrails It’s always incredible to me that I live in the largest city in the state and these nature escapes exist behind our buildings and homes.

Discovered a flower I haven’t met yet. Ghost flower was an apt name for this mystical looking plant.

My favorite month, my favorite weather, a grateful heart.
