Hola! Our 4th Science of Healing article is live on @substack!!! The longer I’ve taken care of patients, the more I realize 1 very important thing: You CANNOT have a full conversation about health and healing without talking about the Nervous System. We talk about pain, muscles, joints, hormones, inflammation, nutrition, sleep and exercise — and all of that definitely matters. However, the Nervous System is constantly taking in information, processing what’s happening inside and around us, and helping the body respond. That’s why I believe it is foundational for healing. This article gets into why the nervous system needs to be a bigger part of the healthcare conversation, and why understanding it changes the questions we ask about health. If you’ve been following the Science of Healing, this is an important one. Link in bio. #ScienceOfHealing #NervousSystem #Healing #Health #function

#allmeatssmokedbbq #barbacoaamericana #bbqpitmaster #brisket #beefribs

One of the simplest ideas in healthcare is also the most important: The body does the healing. Treatments can support it. Procedures can guide it. Healthcare can create better conditions for it. But the actual healing still happens within the person. That idea changes the way we think about health, treatment, and recovery. I wrote more about it in our newest Science of Healing article. The Body Does the Healing. Read the full article at the link in bio.

For years, the question kept coming up for me was How does the human body actually heal? #Healthcare has become incredibly advanced at diagnosing disease, managing symptoms, and responding to emergency / crisis. However, I believe we also need a deeper conversation about health itself. Understanding how the body functions, what supports it, and what prevents proper healing. That is why I created #TheScienceofHealing. I wrote my first article and it’s now live on @substack “The Science of Healing: Why This Conversation Matters” This is bigger than a profession, a treatment, or a technology. It’s about putting the patient back at the center of healthcare and becoming as interested in understanding health and healing as we are in understanding sickness and disease. If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to read it, share it and be part of the conversation. Read the full article … link in BIO #healinghealthcare #letschangetheconversation #healing

I am super proud for the release of my Science of Healing- Shockwave Therapy course recorded with @webexercises and its WebExerciseAcademy. When I originally was asked to do a #ShockwaveTherapy course, I immediately started think about shockwave and the different devices. As I dove into this and thought about how to make this the most impactful webinar, I decide to make it a course about #healing with the shockwave as a foundation for it. It ended up coming out extremely well!! Check it out!! If you are a #healthcareworker please share this! This conversation needs to be heard by everyone. Not because of shockwave but because of the healing conversation!! Thank you in advance for your attention!

👇🏻👇🏻 #lifestyle #quiropractica #quieropracticalima #quiromasaje

🧠 Mindset Check 🧐 Somehow society has accepted brushing your teeth, showering, exercising, eating healthy, and taking care of your body as a normal part of life… but Chiropractic is still viewed by many as something you only do when you’re hurting. What if we flipped that mindset??! Your Spine and Nervous System is the foundation for all the health and healing in the body. Taking care of that shouldn’t be viewed as a “treatment” — it should be viewed as part of a healthy lifestyle. You don’t wait for your teeth to fall out before brushing them. You don’t wait until you can’t move before taking care of your body. Health is built through consistency, not crisis. This clip from the “Dishin with Dana” podcast dives into changing the conversation around chiropractic care — from reactive healthcare to proactive living. 🔥 #Chiropractic #MindsetShift #HealthIsALifestyle #Wellness #ChiropracticLifestyle
