Comment BRAIN and I'll send you the questions I ask before building one.

Everyone wants a pizza tracker for their business. Every order, every step, one screen.

With AI I can build that screen in five minutes. That's the easy part.

The real work is making every step actually work, so no order gets stuck and nobody loses money.

And a lot of builds turn into a hot potato. The builder signs off and walks away. Then something breaks and nobody owns it.

So before you build, figure out who owns it after launch. For us that's a team that cares, plus agents watching it 24/7.

Most AI builds don't blow up. They drift.

Week 1, someone asks "can it also do this one thing?" It sounds small. It almost never is.

Nobody wrote down what done means, so done keeps moving. Every new integration adds a week, plus the support it needs forever. And support starts before launch, but nobody priced it in.

What keeps it at 6 weeks: one workflow, a written definition of done, ship 80%, and pilot with real users. Anything else is phase 2, and phase 2 is a new scope.

Comment SCOPE and I'll send you the scope checklist I use.

Most second brains are full of people and projects. Mine was too.

That tells an AI agent what's in flight. It still won't know how you'd handle it.

So my vault is growing SOPs and notes on how I think, execute and decide.

An SOP is how a thing gets done, step by step. A decision note holds the rules I use, like when to say yes to a project.

With those in the vault, an agent can do the work the way I would.

Comment BRAIN and I'll send you the setup.

Every note in my second brain gets a confidence score now.

The vault lives in Obsidian. A low score means the note might be wrong.

I get 5 questions a day, starting with the notes that score lowest, and my answers fix them.

Nightly jobs update and organize the vault while I sleep.

My agents read these notes too. What they know about the business is stuff I've already checked.

Comment BRAIN and I'll send you the setup.

One laptop. Five tools. The stack I actually run.

Second brain: Obsidian plus Codex automations on a schedule.
Video: Higgsfield and Seedance.
Ads: Claude Code drives Meta. Nothing goes live without my sign-off.
Buffer queues it. Reports land before I wake up.
Ships, not pitches.

107 projects. 510 people. 810 meetings. One vault.

People: one note per person, with open loops.
Projects: status, next action, who we're waiting on.
Meetings: decisions and action items, not transcripts.
Run receipts: a log for every automation run.
Rule I use: if it's not actionable, a reference, or a person, it's noise.

Comment BRAIN and I'll DM you the prompt.

191,516 emails. One night. Six inboxes.

I pointed an AI at every account I own, personal mail back to May 2022, and went to sleep.
By morning: 77 meeting reviews saved, and a people note for everyone I talk to.
It also caught a pricing mistake my note-taker made, and a plan that broke my own pay-before-build rule.
The agent's note: "I let the deep review run too long." Next time I set a stopping point.

Comment BRAIN and I'll DM you the agent prompt.

A second brain without rules is just a junk drawer.

These are the 6 rules I run my own vault on: one vault, one writer, a review queue, receipts for every fact, 30-day retention, and a small focus list on top.

Comment BRAIN and I'll show you how to set up your own second brain.

If you truly want to leverage AI

Start organizing your context.

The truly successful businesses of the future will be the ones with the most organized context. This way AI can safely make decisions without human input.

It’s been a whirlwind of a week, and the feedback has been overwhelming.

“Fabulous event, I can’t believe how quickly it flew by. Has it been 3 hours?!”

“I’ve never experienced anything like this.”

“How great it feels to be in a conference where God is in the forefront.”

“This is the best thing ever!”

“I love this conference!!”

And my personal favorite: “Today, God was glorified.”

A huge thanks to the incredible line up of speakers, sponsors and attendees that made the inaugural Catholic Economy Forum a success.
