🪩 My creation: THE DISCO BALL 🪩
Last Halloween, I decided to turn myself into a giant disco ball.
It took me almost a month to bring this idea from my head to reality.
First, I had to find the biggest ball that could actually fit through the door. I ended up ordering 5 different balls before finding the right biggest one. 😂
Then came layers and layers of paper and glue.
Let it dry. And again. And again.
Then spray painting, measuring, drawing all the lines and sections for the mirror tiles… and finally attaching thousands of tiny squares. My first attempt with spray adhesive? Everything fell off. 🫠
Second attempt with a different glue? It worked! 🙌
And then came the final, never-ending step: peeling the protective film off every single little mirror square. One. By. One. 😅took me about a day in the day of a party ( no wonder I was late) Finally, I showed up at the party in my giant disco ball, wearing a matching silver outfit and a rhinestone wig that I made myself too. ✨
And because I was also the DJ that night, I actually had to change outfits several more times throughout the evening so I could… you know, actually move and do my job. 😂
But those are just minor details when you have a giant disco ball to show off. 🪩
And somehow, all those hours of work turned into the most amazing feeling when I walked into the party and my disco ball became a HIT! 🪩
I’m so happy and grateful to say that I took first place for the second year in a row! 🏆
Thank you all for voting, cheering me on, and giving me so many compliments and so much joy. ❤️
There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a crazy idea from your head… and turning it into reality.
From an idea in my head → to a giant disco ball in real life. 🪩✨

So… this Halloween I went all in ✨
I made a giant disco ball costume — so big it could barely fit through a doorway. It took me about a month to build, and honestly… it turned out even better than I imagined 😍🪩🎉I made metallic hair too btw
It completely exceeded my expectations.
And the best part? At this party (hands down the best in the Bay Area, organized by Lesya @lessy.vita ), I won Best Costume for the second year in a row 🏆🤩 Last year I was literally carried around in a box by some Frankenstein… long story 😄
Not gonna lie — this disco ball was HEAVY. It was pressing into my shoulders to bruises … but 100% worth it.
Fun fact: I was also DJing at the same party, so I had to change outfits multiple times — from disco ball to something more DJ-friendly and back again 😜🎧✨
Worth every second! Already got ideas for next year Halloween costume

And of coz big thanks for all the videos @rabbittoly @artbazil and all dear friends
