10k done! #wineanddinehalf to go! We dragged our friend @tmd1018 to do the race and we all had a blast! Nice course and great running weather. At least for us Michiganders ! 😂! See you tomorrow!! #10k #epcot #wineanddine #rundisney

Back again for the #wineanddinehalf and #wineanddine10k . Boy what a difference a day makes! I saw all the posts about the waits yesterday. Yikes! Today was the smoothest expo experience we have had in a while. Of course it’s a tad bit disheartening to see the merch completely picked over. A direct result of the expanded 5k race. Oh well. Saved us some money I guess. And it did affect it. We hate done this race weekend since 2016. But it’s still going to be a great #rundisney race! Hopefully I will see you at the finish line! #wineanddine #disneyworld

I’m getting SO excited for the runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon this weekend at Walt Disney World! And I’m especially excited to bring my new @race.bling.repeat medal travel pouch with me because obviously those medals need their own little VIP travel bag. 😂🏅✨This will be the best addition to my must bring on race weekends!

Can’t wait to add another runDisney medal to the collection! Who else is racing this weekend?! 💕🏰

Fun fact: right as the gun went off & we pushed our stroller past the start line, the wheel collapsed🤦‍♀️😂

@race.bling.repeat came to the rescue & let us use hers, while @luke_james_fitness & Atlas ran(Atlas strolled😂, he’s athletic, but he’s not thaaaat athletic.. he’s 1 lol) the 5k for time, & Karissa, Kiara & I did Kiara’s first 5k stroller free!!! Sorry Kiara, but just remember years later, that while your nice ride of a jogger stroller was borrowed, Auntie Em did give you as many piggy back rides as you wanted 😂❤️

What a fun event done by @why_racing_events back in May🤍

✨ WHY Ambassador Spotlight: Mandy Evans ✨

If you’ve been to a WHY Racing event, you’ve probably met Mandy—or at least felt her positive energy! As our Ambassador Coordinator, she’s all about building community, cheering people on, and making everyone feel welcome.

When she’s not training for HYROX Utah, duathlons, or a WHY Racing 10K, she’s busy running community programs, co-owning Protech Basketball, and keeping up with her family’s busy sports schedule.

Her race day essentials? An Alani Nu, a bagel, a little glitter, and a whole lot of good vibes. And after the finish line... Wendy’s and a Dr Pepper are calling.

Her advice for first-time racers:
💚 “You got this! Show up, do your best, and have fun!”

One word that describes Mandy on race day?
VIBE. And we couldn’t agree more.

Be sure to say hi to @mandyevans.fit at your next WHY Racing event!

✨ WHY Ambassador Spotlight: Karissa Neal ✨

If you’ve ever seen a Disney-inspired costume, a stroller on the course, or a little extra glitter at a WHY Racing event, you’ve probably met Karissa! 💖

A chronic illness warrior, homeschooling mom of three, and pastor alongside her husband, Karissa is passionate about showing her kids—and everyone around her—that movement is a lifestyle, not a chore. She’s currently training for the PDX Triathlon, but the 10K will always have her heart.

Her advice for anyone thinking about signing up for their first race says it all:
💚 “It’s not about having the fastest time; it’s about having the best time! Whether you’re walking, running, or pushing a stroller, you belong here.”

One word to describe race day?
Exciting. And Karissa brings that excitement to every WHY Racing event she attends.

Be sure to say hello to @race.bling.repeat at your next race! ✨

✨ WHY Ambassador Spotlight: Jared Roediger ✨

Whether he’s training for the Tri-Cities 70.3, traveling somewhere new, or hunting down the perfect slice of pizza, Jared is always up for his next adventure. While he’s taking on triathlon this season, the marathon will always be his favorite distance.

One race day tradition never changes: a call to his brother before the start and a kiss from his wife for good luck. ❤️
