It was almost too difficult to choose just twenty photos to represent our absolutely wonderful weekend with @jencalonita! We visited Dan Mills, Inglewood, and the Episcopal School of Nashville before hosting a public event on Saturday. All of you made it so amazing. A huge special shout out to Ms. Roeder, Ms. Allgood, and Ms. Funk (who we somehow forgot to take a picture with?)! These educators are so committed to your kids. We would not have been able to make any of this happen without their tireless help and support. Thanks to the one and only @rushbomb of @maryoliversdrunkcousin for interviewing Jen at our public event. We have a few copies of her poetry collection left in store, if you want to come by. Also, a very kind person named @rachelmaclaughs donated all sixty-five of the books we took to Inglewood Elementary. Because of Rachel's kindness and generosity, every kid in the assembly was able to go home with a signed copy of Jen's book. Thank you, Rachel! You can see the screenshot of her story at the end of the slides. 💚💚 Come see us this week as we gear up for Kidsville! #eastnashville #author #kidswhoread
