IVF didn’t just change how I became a mom. It changed the way I experience motherhood.

Breastfeeding is a journey I absolutely love. I thank God I was able to nurse Nash as that was something I prayed I would be able to do. I don’t know if it’s in my future to do again, so I didn’t want to rush this stage away.

I always have my camera on. I want to remember his favorite toy, his baby laugh, saying mama 20 times in a row. I want to look back and see his childhood all over again.

On our IVF journey we had it planned out (so we thought) when Nash turner 1 we would transfer again. And then I had a c section. And then I didn’t want my baby to grow up in my eyes because there was another baby to care for. (I don’t even know if my thoughts make sense here). And with only one embryo remaining, I wanted to remain hopeful a little longer before we go ahead and transfer.

Those are just some way I experience motherhood after IVF. Does anything resonate or do you have your own ways you see motherhood after?

the best way to start bringing summer to a close - beyond grateful for the Lord’s provision in friendship this past year, it was truly the biggest thing on my heart & He has answered in abundance. so fun to fellowship with a few of my good friends & crafty new ones :)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the other mama’s here today - I hope you feel so seen, celebrated, and loved! Making ordinary days feel sacred and cherished is no small thing 🤍 motherhood is such a steady kind of love and I adore getting to capturing it

This post is a little late but I wanted to show you guys all the Christmas gifts I made in 2025!
Each one was slowly created for the purpose of blessing my loved ones (or blessing the loved ones of the people who commissioned me). It’s such a joy to create gifts that I know will be cherished ♥️

Did you make any Christmas gifts by hand? I’d love to know what you made!
