Pick a Micro Trope and I'll give you a no spice rec... Part 2 because I thought of more!

(Also we are not talking about the fact that I'm incapable of making a recommendation post without The Sunbird's Last Lament and Wild Elegy)

I eat this trope up every time!! Soo good!!

Fierce Heart is a much sweeter version of the trope with Farrendel dealing with PTSD from war and torture (my poor baby 🥺😭❤️‍🩹) and Guardians of Talons and Snares is the enemies to lovers version 🔥

Caldon and Callum are my favorite type of side character! Give me a sarcastic and flirty best friend every day 😭😭

This trope is soooo rare and I love it every time!!

Why yes, I would absolutely love a book where both the characters are fully grown adults and the FMC is a few years older as opposed to a 22 year old FMC and a 30-something MMC.

(Does not apply when the MMC is over 100, I don't make the rules)

Why have "Who did this to you" when "I did this to you" is an option??

And since I had MMC Bodyguard's in the last one I had to include when the FMC is a Bodyguard 👏🏻👏🏻

It may not be obvious anymore, but Jane Austen was my entire personality in highschool (I was 100% the weird, old-soul kid) so naturally I love any and all Jane Austen retellings!!

I'm part of the way through Tempests and Tea Leaves and absolutely loving it!!

I LOVE a chaotic magical MMC! They're absolutely my favorite!

((If you haven't read Howl's Moving Castle just be warned that he's much sweeter in the movie, I still love him dearly but he's a bit more of a jerk in the book 😂))

A few years ago, I shared that I am NOT a fan of horror, but October typically makes me want to read more no spice fantasy, paranormal, & urban fantasy romance. So, I put together a list of books I enjoyed & would recommend for my fellow scaredy cats who don’t want horror but do want some magic in their books.

I know dual POV books are all the rage right now, but don't sleep on these single POV books!✨️

Each of these are packed to the brim with tension, swoon, and they'll keep you hooked until the very end, even without the additional point of view.

If anything, I prefer that these books only have one point of view because it forces you to infer what the other person is thinking/feeling the same way the character narrating is.
