RACOCO’S BAZAAR BENEFIT OCTOBER 18 - WHAT’S IT WORTH TO YOU?

Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:00am to 6:00pm
price: Free to enter!
Racoco’s Laboratelier
56 Bogart St Brooklyn, NY

The Evocative Biography Shadowbox is closing soon.
To help us pack everything up, we’re inviting everyone to Racoco’s Bazaar Benefit, where we’ll auction off such items as a silver butter dish, a strip of staples, and an unopened bag of circus peanuts. Each one has a story, you decide its value!
Or, if something strikes your fancy, name a price and it might be yours...

Feeling strapped? Put away your wallet and remove some items from the space. What you do with them is up to you! (But if you throw them out, do it where we can’t see it.)

Can’t make it? Make an appointment to come later in the week. Or, make a virtual bid, choose from the below exciting offerings, or make a clutter-free, fully tax-deductible contribution.

Take Action Theater improvisation to
-engage your body and voice
-relish the present moment
-explode your imagination
-hone awareness of space, time, and form
-shake up old patterns and discover new pathways
-build resilience amid change
-make the judging mind your ally
-play well with others

“There was a kind of magic in how it all unfolded—grounded, yet wildly open.”
“It was certainly an eye opening experience for me, to get to know the movement of my body and how it is able to do with and without the mind.”

Mondays in person and Tuesdays on Zoom - DM for details!

In August we’re developing the installation started with our Festival of Things. 🌟You can still
-Bring items you’ve had for years that you’ve been meaning to fix, and either fix them or say goodbye
-Bring items you’re having trouble letting go of to say goodbye in a bespoke Object Melodrama
-Experience Inanimated Speed Dating
-See our progress in the installation
-Have a cup of tea.

Contact us to set up a visit!✨
