Livermush Festival demonstration 2026. This is by far the most challenging demo we do every year. We are not able to create this level of distraction in training. Quite honestly, it’s a logistical nightmare. However, we’re always up for the challenge. The festival was a huge hit with record numbers. Perfect fall weather and the teams knocked it out of the park. Special thanks to Riley Wood for donning the bitesuit and safely catching the dogs.

Next up in our @atk9usa mini interview series! 🎙️🐕

Sean sits down with Matt Foster @kingdomk9llc to talk about the training system he and Ben Rader @raderk9 developed and the thought behind their equipment.

Then Sean gets hands on with their pillow and A frame setup, designed to encourage engagement through the rear molars and build a deeper, more powerful grip. 💪

Big shoutout to Ben Rader! You were missed at ATK9 this year, brother! 👊

@atk9usa 2026 is a wrap and blessed is an understatement. Thanks to every working dog team that came out and gave us every ounce of effort they had to get better every day. Thank you to @rayallenk9 for setting us up with the best push pillows we could have asked for. Thanks to @lockedonk9llc and @mswartzie for all their hard work and knowledge they empowered on all our students and then some. Thanks to @raderk9 for quite literally being the reason we are all there teaching and being the glue that holds us together, you couldn’t make it this year but we have many years to come. Thanks to @malsandmutt for the badass photography all week you absolutely killed it and we are so happy we get the opportunity to have you come and capture these moments for us. This year was one to be remembered and I can’t wait for 2027. Get out there and train! #KingdomK9

Here’s your Week 40 recap!

A special shoutout and thank you to @atk9usa for putting on an absolutely insane event this week! Top-tier, world-class training, incredible K9 teams, and an awesome community of folks doing some incredible work. We had a blast finally meeting so many of y’all in person, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting plenty of new folks along the way. Until next time, ATK9! 🫡

Another amazing time at @atk9usa

Honesty, didn’t take a ton of video or photos this year. But boy did I soak in the fellowship time with all of you, my friends.

The greatest thing WH has ever done for me is connect me with all of you. Thank you to those who hung out, trained and supported me this week.

Not to get all sappy, but man, I’m so grateful for you guys. I’m also so proud of how you all trained this week. Keep up the hard work even if some around you don’t value you, I promise you are loved and appreciated, I see just how hard yall work and I’m proud of you!

Thank you, ATK9.

Attending as a vendor and classroom attendees allows us to dial in and learn even more about what you do, and how we can help you.

At Muscatatuck Training Center we got to sit next to handlers who do this for a living and see how the work really gets done.

Our biggest win was the conversations.
Board members, attendees, vet med experts, and handlers of active working K9s and wounded K9s all took time to tell us what their dogs need.
A lot of them want to help us find solutions through our ongoing research. That’s fuel to our fire heading into 2027.

Pictured: @mediocrek9handler and K9 Hondo.
Thank you both for the work you do, and for being a real one.

A BIG thank you to @essek9collective
You partnered with us at the end of 2025 and encouraged us to be at this event.
You believe in what we do, in the results our products are getting, and in the bigger goals behind our mission.
That means a lot to us. WAY more coming.

And to @atk9usa : The organization, the communication, and the care you put into making this event a success showed all week. Thank you for having us, and for the great conversations.

To everyone we talked with between the vendor booth and the class sessions: we can’t wait to work more with you.

Onward.

I love what I do and no matter what I will always strive to impact someone’s life in a positive way. Attending the @atk9usa conference for my fourth year in a row and I am truly grateful for the opportunity. Even though my mentor and good friend @raderk9 couldn’t be with us we made it happen with PACKED classes every day and @lockedonk9llc and @mswartzie there crushing it everyday. This job comes with an inherent responsibility to better yourself everyday. While I hope I helped just 1 of my students to be better enough to survive and save someone’s life today I know for a fact they have each and individually taught me much more than they realize. Tomorrow is the last day of the best working dog conference in the world and I can’t wait till the sun goes up and I can train with some of the most professional people in the world. #kingdomk9 #bitemechanicsanddevelopment

This week has been an absolute blast and I’m so sad to be flying back home tomorrow.
I just want to give a huge thank you to Matt and Ben for bringing me out to ATK9 to do photography and videography!
This has been such an incredible opportunity for me, and I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of it. I’ve met some incredible people, learned so much, and made memories I’ll carry with me for a long time.
Thank you again, Matt and Ben for trusting me to capture it all!
