“Dreamcast” Is now on view until June 7th in Dubai, book your visit on our website.

The works are coming together to propose a new universe overtaken by characters inspired by animated films and video games from the 90s with a modern age twist. The artworks in the exhibition cast a dreamlike scenery, through which the viewers are taken back to their childhood safe places, away from daily strains and hardships. The characters nuanced intimacy leads the imagination into a path with an unknown destination and a discovery trip to an amicable alternative reality.

The exhibition includes works (in no particular order), by:

Off The Record is delighted to present our 1st group show in 2022 at K11 Musea 6/F, featuring 17 artists.

“Recording…”

Moments and stories are captured when the camera rolls. Through the director’s lens, with techniques such as colour grading to camera angles, these moments are shaped into a storyline, an art piece unique to the director.

The hustle and bustle of the city is a blockbuster. How we depict vicissitudes and develop our own philosophy lie in our hands. Sitting in the director’s chair, we create our unique memory lane. The way we choose to process and perceive our memory is what makes each and every piece of art extraordinary.
