ALL ABOARD!!! ✍🏽💌🚉
A short film for the poets, the yearners, and the public transit commuters. My upcoming short film, Left of the Station, tells the story of a college couple who reflects on their relationship after observing other people in love on a train. After spending nearly two full years on editing, visual effects, sound design, color, and an original score, I am proud to announce that Left of the Station will be playing at a local venue near you in select cities through the Bay Area, Central Valley, and LA regions this Fall!

That’s right, I want to bring Left of the Station to a venue near YOU, but first I need YOUR help. Comment below WHERE WOULD YOU GO TO SEE OUR FILM!👇🏽

Follow and DM me for more details/ questions about the community screenings tour, and if you’re a poet, songwriter, or public transit enthusiast living in the Bay Area, Central Valley, or LA, leave a comment with specific venues where you think we should hold our first Open-Mic + Community Screening in YOUR city!!

We screened an 11 minute preview of The Prison Outside at the Emeryville Film Festival @rccdemeryville in a (sold out baby!!) block of short films all made by system impacted filmmakers.

At the end of the night, when the festival announced their awards, The Prison Outside preview took home the best documentary in the festival! This was a huge honor and the momentum and affirmation we need to take into post! Thank you Emeryville, thank you judges, thank you to everyone who came out and supported.

It was an honor to be a part of it and to sit on a panel with such talented filmmakers who we also call friends @antwan_banks_williams @findingmafilm @rahsaan_new_york_thomas and @realgoaldigga

And to introduce you all to the love and 🤩of @slimbarbiestar and @mlgraham1962 and @mrterrencegraham

We could not have gotten here without the support of @sffilm and our advisors @juvenileinjustice @rahsaan_new_york_thomas and others

Thanks for the beats @rafeaxne

live experimental music at the billiards hall! We threw a fun show with @zulyinirio and @rafeaxne to celebrate our new album with friends! Our goal as a band is to keep playing gigs in unique spaces around the city and finding ways to blend music & film together! More soon!

Thank you @happybilliardsf for hosting us and being open to something different! Check them out when you are in Chinatown!
