Art as Healing: Where Creativity Meets Care

Tuesday, 11/3/26
12:00 - 1:30 p.m.

Join artist Alison Ragguette and Jennifer Moulton for an engaging conversation and hands-on exploration of art therapy. Together, they'll discuss art therapy as a career path, sharing how their disciplines intersect and enhance one another, before taking part in a collaborative art-making activity that brings those connections to life. The session will also look ahead at the future of art therapy and its growing role in mental health, showing how the language of art and the language of healing are more intertwined than ever.

What happens when ancient history meets Hollywood magic? 🎬🏺

From the mysteries of the pyramids to the stories of pharaohs, ancient Egypt has shaped the way generations imagine the past on screen.

On March 20, CSUSB’s Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) will bring together Egyptologists, archaeologists, and scholars for “Ancient Egypt in Hollywood,” a conference exploring how cinema has interpreted and reimagined one of history’s most fascinating civilizations.

The art of glass is one of those things that is beyond me at this point, but I’m very intrigued by.

I loved going through this exhibition, considering each piece, taking photos, taking a break for some time, and then coming back in to enjoy it all again. At the moment, I’ve taken up watching the show “Blown Away” to get some more insight into the process beyond what I’ve been told.

These were some of my favorite shots as I was walking through. Unfortunately Instagram has a photo limit, but I hope you all enjoy what’s there! I really encourage anyone who can to visit the “To See Through” exhibit at the RAFFMA museum.

I am pleased to announce the inclusion of my sculpture "Disquietude 14" in the following group show:
.
To See Through
.
September 12 – December 12, 2026
.
Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art.
California State University, San Bernardino
5500 University Parkway
San Bernardino, CA 92407
.
Opening: September 12, 2026
12:00pm - 4:00pm
.
Curator and juror is Artist/Professor, Katherine Gray
.
To See Through explores the space between transparency and opacity, where translucency reveals only fragments of what lies beneath the surface. Featuring artists working across all media, the exhibition examines how light, material, and perception shape our understanding of visibility, discovery, and meaning. Artists whose work engages with clarity, translucency, or opacity were invited to submit and contribute to this exploration of what is revealed and what remains unseen.
