📢 Chicago women... if you've been carrying a lot lately (emotionally, mentally, or in your body), RAGEher is happening this weekend at Hairpin Arts Center in Logan Square.

I'll be working the Friday night event for all women + femmes, and attending Saturday night's moms event as a participant. These spaces are powerful -- they're about releasing what we've been holding, moving through anger in a healthy way, and reconnecting with ourselves in community 🔥

If you've been craving a space to move, feel, and be witnessed, come join me. Sliding‑scale tickets are available at rageher.com.

Atlanta, we did THAT.

We came. We raged. We left lighter and more alive.

Even having been on the RAGEher journey from the beginning, I was moved way beyond what I expected.

My prayer was for expression in service of liberation. For us in the space, and all of us.

Amidst storms, the gods cheered us on with timely lightening strikes as we made commitments to each other. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Perhaps tentative at the start, this crew quickly dropped in and tore up the Fury Floor.

In a word: Permission

Permission to be, to express, to feel, to want.

Some sentiments shared:

"I felt safe in this group from the start"

"I've never had permission to express myself as fully as I did here... and it was so necessary"

"Since RAGEher, I'm letting myself want what I've never let myself truly want before"

I'm humbled, grateful and psyched for the next one! Likely March 2027. Lmk if you want to stay in the loop.

🔥✌️

What an evening! What happens when you get 40 moms in a room to watch @nocountryformothers? They network, they get inspired, they laugh, they cry, they groan (loudly), they get angry, and they feel less alone.

We are not failing motherhood. The system was never designed to support us. But together we can absolutely change that.

We’re not done yet!

Our last Sunday Funday, Clarity in Motion was everything I wanted it to be ✨

It felt important to separate from the computer and connect 🧠 🤚 📝 to explore the concepts of effort and ease as well as fear and resistance.

Through a guided journaling session led by the incredible Aine founder of @journalingfix and a yoga/movement session from the equally incredible Elyssa from @wolfandlionsd we did it all.

We had light snacks, easy conversation with profound thoughts and awarenesses. We worked independently (with our cute Twine journals!) while also connecting in community.

It was truly the perfect Sunday Funday ✨

Thank you to our amazing facilitators and all our participants for stepping onto to the mat, being curios, connecting and sharing 💛

Sunday Fundays are always open to the public and free for Twine members. It’s our gift back to our hard working community of strong women.

The world is heavy right now.

Many of us are navigating heartbreak, grief, caregiving, burnout, relationship challenges, uncertainty, and major life transitions while also carrying the weight of injustice, violence, division, and the collective pain unfolding around us.

And yet we're rarely taught what to do with the emotions that arise in response.

Especially anger.

Most of us were never taught what to do with anger.

So we swallow it.

And it’s actively harming us. We turn it inward as self-criticism. We carry it in our shoulders, jaws, stomachs, nervous systems, relationships, and bodies. We call it stress, burnout, overwhelm, tension, chronic fatigue, resentment, depression, numbness, and autoimmune disease, and a random collection of body ailments.

But anger isn't the problem.

Anger is the force behind human rights movements, boundary setting, truth telling, protection, liberation, pleasure, and the courage to move toward our deepest yearnings and desires.

RAGEher offers something different.

Through movement, music, somatic practices, and community, you'll be guided through a powerful emotional release experience designed to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself you've been taught to suppress.

This isn't about losing control.

It's about learning how to use your rage on purpose, toward purpose.

Held by experienced Rage Doulas with thousands of hours of training in somatics, coaching, therapy, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed care, you'll be supported every step of the way inside a carefully facilitated emotional container.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Think girls' night out meets emotional liberation.

The experience begins in the Tempest Tavern, where you'll connect with fellow Ragelings and the Rage Doulas holding the space.

From there, you'll move to the Fury Floor, a guided musical journey that gradually builds in intensity. You'll be invited to move, shake, stomp, scream, cry, hit pillows, tantrum, laugh, grieve, or simply witness—whatever your body needs to do to release.

The evening concludes in the Livid Lounge, where participants gather for reflection, integration, snacks, and connection.

You've been holding it in your jaw. Your shoulders. That weird ache behind your left shoulder blade that your chiropractor can't quite crack.

September. Atlanta. For the first time.

RAGEher is a group somatic experience for those who hold femmeness, lineage, or identity in their body, story or spirit who are done being so godd@mn fine about everything.

You'll scream. You'll move. You'll cry, probably. You'll be held by an intimate room of women who get it because they ARE it.

A Rage Doula, masters-educated practitioner, will be with you the entire time. You will not be alone in your body for one second of it.

You'll leave feeling 10 pounds lighter. Clear. Like your body remembered something it forgot.

"I literally don't think my body and brain has felt this good since 2012."

One life in this meatsuit. F*cking live it.
