The Us project pushes back against the social narrative around SA by making space for real people, real faces and real stories.

The project began with 50 stories in 2017. Now, a new evolution is beginning here in Naarm, Melbourne.

We’re looking for new people, new stories and new truths to become part of the next chapter of the Us project.

The underlying focus is still the same: that people feel able to be seen, to speak in their own words, and to know that the shame was never theirs to carry.

No shame. Say your name. Show your face. Speak your truth.

✨ Wrapping up our arts project 'Her Traditional Knowledge of Plants' with beautiful meditation art sessions led by Gülsen 🌿🎨

These sessions created a healing and nostalgic space for participants to reconnect with memories, stories, culture, and the wisdom of plants passed through generations. 💚

A huge thank you and best wishes to our Arts Project Manager @sofiedieu as she continues her PhD research — we can’t wait to experience the upcoming exhibition! ✨

This project honours intergenerational knowledge and fosters community connection, cultural pride, and a deeper relationship with the natural world.
