Entangled Garden 2026, in fragments. 🌿

Thank you to every artist who brought your work, time, trust, and presence into the first edition of Entangled Garden | New York Experimental Arts Festival. 🎞️🎭

Across four days, the garden became a space for moving image, performance, installation, sound, conversation, and encounter.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped shape it. ✨

The festival may be over, but the archive, writing, images, and relationships continue.

Thank you for sharing your work with, until next time. 💙

A little burst of color swept through the Lower East Side this October.
So happy to see it all come to life, and so grateful to everyone who made it happen.

New York Noise Pollution Counterpoint by Fatal Oscillation >• aka @rahulmelted *<

An album presented as a 2D RPG, marking a first for me (recorded/mixed/mastered). The objective is to find tracks to reduce noise pollution and create a unique version of the album. And in the end, your playthrough audio becomes a downloadable digital keepsake

If you decide to play — what sort of feelings/thoughts came up? Any resonate with time you’ve spent in NYC? General gameplay feedback?

OHCE-ECHO is closed in July and August for reading, research, and writing, but I—hi, it's me, Francesca!—will co-host a special event on August 9, evening, and as ever, all are warmly invited and welcome, ❤️

-_-

Resonance through the haze
Saturday, August 9, from 6 to 9 PM
Helena Gutteridge Plaza at City Hall

An evening of musical performances and readings, supported by the City of Vancouver Community Placemaking Program, reflecting on wildfire season, collective responsibility, and the necessity of art and community gathering in our time of ecological—and other—uncertainty/ies.

Amid the ping-pong tables of Helena Gutteridge Plaza, we'll hear from gamelan trio Gamelan Kembang Telang, singers Vanessa Richards & Martin Reisle, a percussion ensemble led by Woojae Kim, with Ben Bennett, Khan Lee, and Rahul Nair, and readers Karina Irvine and Michael Turner.

🔥🧯🌇 ➰ in bio, ❤️‍🔥

Bubbling with joy and love @sofia.thieu @j0nsant0s @on_topo 2025 🔊🤍 “Sensory Cultivation” at Bak Lim Sa (Catskill Zendo) 📿 thank you to the talented artists (tagged), practitioners, Ontopo team, and all participants this year—to HyeSeong Sunim, BoSung Sunim, YuJin Sunim, MinHee & the temple staff especially for your generosity and teachings on “don’t know / how can I help mind”—for your presence and sangha. When asked about this weekend over these past few days, I’ve found myself in a shortage of appropriate words, so here are a few documents of our shared moments together with so many special people. I’ll be downloading this all for a long time…and hopefully to more in spiritual, embodied, more-than-human kinship, to “when the work becomes the path” 🪷 #templestay #contemporaryart #performance #baklimsa #tiredcurators

Had the honor to participate in this year’s @on_topo at @baklimsa_catskill_zendo. It was such a revitalizing weekend of art, communion, sharing, and ‘Sensory Cultivation’

Many thanks to @danni_sh, @sofia.thieu, and @j0nsant0s for inviting me to participate.

In the first img is a painting called “Procession”, where the rock in the center was found in the temple grounds. The gold leaf was contributed by the participants of @on_topo ✨🙏💖

Great fun to have participated with so many wonderful artists @anhqvo @reallygoodatmath @annatingmoller @lugao_studio @micro_way @madbilly114 @woooooooojae @rahulmelted @jake_tobin__ @ye.zhu_ @ayoungyustudio @nicholasohstudio @aydo_studio @viagracia @queendom_fungi
