A VERY rare photo dump, but you know what? Life has been busy and fun lately and this may be my best chance at remembering most of it!
1) Am 5 days into a week in the UK for work and pleasure. Today's train travel didn't mess with my vestibular system - yay!
2) @portalbookshop in York now has a whole shelf of my books. All signed! Go get one if you're ever in York.
3) Met @thepictureofromance on Sunday and am still smiling.
4) We ate rainbow cake at @otrcafeyork and talked all things queer, bookish and smutty!🥰
5) lol @portalbookshop
6) Huge thanks to @clairemorris21 who i have known since I was a baby (am not allowed to call her my oldest friend) for being my assistant @rainbowbookfest. You made EVERYTHING easier and so much fun.
7) All set up!
8) The selfie before the chaos.
9) The gym selfie before the selfie before the chaos.
10) Doing Top Secret Things for Top Secret Things. Watch this space.🎧💪💙

I had the most amazing day yesterday at @rainbowbookfest in York. I came home with way more than I intended to and could have bought twice as much if only I didn't have to get it all home on the train 🤣. Next time I am definitely taking a suitcase.

It was so lovely to meet so many authors who's books I love. I tried not to fangirl too hard.

I do have a bit of an obsession with an illustrated cover and I was over the moon to get my special edition of Resonance!

🌈 📚 Rainbow Bookfest 🌈 📚

What an amazing day yesterday was. Didn't get actually as many pictures as I thought! A full reel will come once I have time.

I came away with 26 books (inlcuding gifted and prize books) and lots of bookish goodies. Amazing to see @charlienwrites for first time since becoming part of street team and lovely to meet so many other lush authors other of some of my favourite books of the year including

@cmdanielsauthor
@lilyjamesauthor
@kc_carmine
@samauthor_com
@k.c.wells
@olivertakelyauthor
Emory Winters

And to all the amazing authors I didnt buy books from I am sorry. I was completely skint after a couple of hours and could have easily bought more, but thank you for talking with me.

Thank you to book friends (new or meeting irl for first time) who made the day even more enjoyable

What a fabulous morning at Rainbow Bookfest York! 🌈📚

Amazing books, amazing authors, and even more amazing people!

Met some wonderful authors, bought some of their books (because apparently my TBR wasn’t already out of control), collected a few autographs, and had some lovely chats along the way!

Honestly, what’s not to love about a room full of books, authors, and fellow book lovers? 🧡🤍🩷

A fantastic event all round, and my book-loving heart (and bookshelves) couldn’t be happier!

Let Freedom Read Day!

At the end of Banned Books Week, a great way to celebrate is to head to your nearest book festival!

Come join us in York at the Rainbow Book Fest. We'll be there with some books, some swag, and plenty of energy to chat to readers and authors alike about Queer the Shelves.

We need the freedom to read widely, without someone dictating what we can and can't have access to. We're proud to be part of that movement.
