You know when you walk into a bakery and suddenly want to try EVERYTHING? That’s @padaria_prazeres for you

The place is built around their OG Pastéis de Nata, those little Portuguese egg custard tarts with the flaky crust and creamy filling. And then there’s the lemon curd Berliner, which is honestly just as tempting.

The problem is, you go thinking you’ll try one or two things, but everything looks so good that you end up wanting more. 🥐🤌

For the first time ever, Padaria Prazeres has found its place among the country’s 50 best at Condé Nast Traveller’s Top Restaurants 2026.

For a space that started out during the pandemic, to have grown and to be recognised at a national level is a huge honour for us.

Big ups to our team, which has dealt with waves over waves of weekend visitors, dozens of workplace crises, and all the other challenges that have been thrown their way — it’s not easy, and yet you folks somehow do it all.

And of course, much appreciation for @diviathani, @sa1i1, @cntravellerindia, and @districtupdates for putting together this beautiful event, and to the jury members who voted for us.

This is our third year on the list, which is no easy feat, and this award is a testament to our team’s tireless efforts and commitment to ensuring that every single person who walks into Praça for a meal leaves with their hearts happy.

If there’s one meal you need to have in Goa, it’s this.

I have been here three times this year and every time I have felt like wow, what a meal.

It’s a classic European menu and they have perfected each dish to a point I’ve never felt like anything was average or not good. I have tried majority of their menu at this point and they keep changing it.

Here are my favourites:

1. Baked brie- best I’ve had and the croutons as well as the jam just take it to a next level
2. Tomato pici- something so simple yet made seven people fight for three portions for every small bite. It was that good. I could have two portions of this on my own and still not be over this dish.
3. Eggplant parmigiana- even the non-vegetarians loved this dish. Defo in the top 5 eggplant parmigiana dishes I’ve had through years.
4. Pumpkin gnocchi- their gnocchi isn’t like any other restaurant. I can’t explain in words, you just have to try it to know.
5. All the desserts

And it's done! 2 editions of Swalpa Susegad in two amazing cities that run on the same pace. Definitely was not susegad in the kitchen though.
It was such a joy to host @ralphprazeres and team in Mysore spending the day at the bakery and then unwinding Mysore style late into the night. And tasting our ways through the days

Let's talk about Mysore! You guys really turned up and we can't thank you enough.

And I am already back in goa for something special tomororw ✌🏼

Padaria is bringing Goa to Mysore this weekend 💃🏻🕺🏻

Swalpa Susegad: Edition 2 will have Chef Ralph bringing his team from Padaria to takeover the bakery at SAPA. They will be bringing all their classics and a few specials made for Mysore.
