We are deeply grateful for the extraordinary last week we spent in Preston(UK), where the exchange offered hands-on sessions, shared methodologies, and meaningful artistic interactions that allowed us to explore new ways of supporting communities living with neurological conditions,
Each day of this great experience immersed us in creative practices, joint reflection, and direct engagement with LPM Dance’s community work, giving us valuable tools and perspectives that we broght back home with gratitude last night.
With these insights guiding us, we are now preparing the Bucharest exchange taking place at the end of this week, ready to deepen our joint exploration of innovative practices that can better support people living with neurological conditions like Parkinson’s through practical workshops, co-created sessions, open dialogue and a performance-promoting artistic and social inclusion.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐲 is a project organized by Profeti Art SRL, communicated through Asociația Entuziart.
Contagious Joy is co-financed by AFCN. The project does not necessarily reflect the position of the National Cultural Fund Administration. AFCN is not responsible for the content of the project or how the results may be used. Responsibility rests entirely with the funding recipient.

Dance movement therapists and psychotherapists work at the intersection between body, mind and emotions. As a society we often focus on one, more than another and forget that our existence is anchored in all of these dimensions.
That health is more than bio-mechanical.

Visibility.Vitality. Visions were the key motto of the 5th international European Association of Dance and Movement Therapy Conference held in Vilnius.

I have never felt more at home, at a professional "serious" event. Colourful clothes, bright eyes, smiling faces, available bodies, kindness, embodied understanding. Feeling moved and moving together through the talks, presentations, workshops and performances, feeling inspired by the community of professionals, among 250 present at the conference, some with decades of experience, inspired and privileged.
And how it feels to see the Minister of Health of Lithuania to hold one of the talks on the second day, to find that dance movement therapy is a Masters program at the Faculty of Medicine, to dance, to feel and heal.

Poetics of Care. Entuziart. Mind Moving
