I opened my eyes after 42 kilometers in the darkness and realized something strange...

The light had always been there...

I was the one who had chosen to step into the darkness, just so I could find it again.

For them... for those who cannot see...

42K in the Darkness.

-----

42K in the Darkness

Some experiences end at the finish line.

Others stay with you forever.

I ran 42 kilometers without seeing the road ahead.

No streets.
No faces.
No finish line.

Just voices, footsteps, trust… and the next step.

For a few hours, I chose the darkness, knowing that when it was over, I could remove the blindfold.

For millions of people, that choice does not exist.

And somewhere along those 42 kilometers, I understood:

Maybe life was never about seeing the entire road ahead.

Maybe it was simply about having the courage to take the next step, and trusting the people who choose to walk beside you.

The blindfold eventually came off.

But I didn’t see the world the same way again.

42K IN THE DARKNESS

For them.
For everyone who believed.
For everyone who walked, ran, guided, supported, donated, and made this possible.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Still feeling the energy from 2ND SUNsets at @odin_mzaar

From the golden hour and @karensakr opening the dancefloor, to the frozen cocktails with @sorbeskin , @ramynaouss sunset ritual, and @stephanjolk taking us deep into the night… every moment felt perfectly connected.

One of those sunsets that slowly turns into a night you don’t want to end.

A week ago, Paul, Maven, and I stepped into the unknown during the Blindfold Experience by @letslive.community . For a few hours, we chose to let go of one of our senses and trust the journey. It was powerful, humbling, and deeply eye-opening.

A few days later, life gave me an unexpected continuation of that lesson. A sharp pain in my eye forced me to keep it closed for nearly two days. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t keep it open, and even caring for Maven became more difficult.

Looking back, I truly believe there was a message behind both experiences.

Thank you to the Let’s Live community and this beautiful family @leabahaderian & @ramynaouss for creating such a meaningful experience and for reminding us of something we so often take for granted: our senses. The ability to see, hear, touch, taste, and smell is a gift we rarely stop to appreciate.

Sometimes, our hardest moments become our greatest reminders to slow down, be grateful, and truly experience life.

Thank you for this beautiful lesson. 🤍✨.
