August highlight reel 🎞️

The camera roll shows a life full, fire babies water logged in a fire season, wrapped in friends and family and adventures. It is.

It’s also a simulation full of tests and triggers. These last two weeks have been a little bit wtf, a little bit death and rebirth-y, a little bit “oh you thought you lived that already? xo eclipse season.” Lil bit cunty and not in the British way.

Oh, you too? You good? From what I’ve heard, it’s many of us so… there’s that. 🙋🏾‍♂️

Still grateful, still grieving. We out here.
Duality baby.

++++ Celebrating my girl on @sail.surf.adventures . Happy birthday @adubbwest ! Your friendship is one of the most healing relationships I’ve known. Thank you for your love, support, candor and for showing me true acceptance. You’re a gift and you leading with that cracked open heart of yours only softens those lucky enough to be in your light. I know how much I love you so I know how much your dad must miss you but he was with us on your day baby girl…in the light, in the waters he loved so much, the dolphins, in that beautiful heart of yours. Shine bright baby girl. I love you for life and I can’t wait to celebrate you for a lifetime ✨

July is always so good to me.

this month—
consistency
training
lots of laying on the floor
espresso walks
river buoys
pool floats
Missy Elliot
Brooks & Dunn
surfboards
Tiri Janu Mari
even bitch ass Mayurasana
created presence and space to expand.
It’s Yoga. ( @stevepyka 🙏🏼)

To be surrounded by people who serve up challenges, reminders, reflections, discoveries, laughter, and friendship simultaneously— I am home here. 👣
