A full circle moment.

The new women’s department of @debijenkorf flagship store in Amsterdam, designed by @random_studio .

One of our first collaborations was with De Bijenkorf, so seeing our Mother of Pearl collection return to the store makes this project feel particularly special. For the space, we developed a custom colour specifically for the project, with each element shaped and bent in our workshop before coming together in the final space.

A collaboration between Dutch companies, bringing together design, craftsmanship and a more thoughtful approach to materials.

Set to open in November, we’ll definitely be taking the team for a look.

We’re happy to announce Andrew Hill as the first speaker of a long series joining KIKK Festival 2026.

Andrew Hill is lead creative technologist at experience design studio @random_studio. Working across software, spatial design and emerging technology, he develops interactive systems that make physical spaces feel alive, responsive and participatory.

Still processing this immense moment aka the launch of AVAILABLE TO PROMISE - the 2026 State of Fashion biennale. Bloody hell!!

A year in the making. A year of so much happiness and ‘good stress’. Conceived with the sharpest curatorial brains and partners in crime @vandriel_marinkovic_luo and @annezzzzzz - love you both.

I’m filled with immense gratitude to the whole @stateoffashionnl team: Iris, JP, Astrid, Aimy, Sem, Renee. The best production team: Ewoud, Natasha, Robin, Suki, Kim, @collectiefsoepel and all the people who worked so hard to bring the exhibition to life in 6 days(insane). Of course, the most talented friends Adam, Ben and Connor of @intmagicgroup - you guys are amazing!! I hope this is just the beginning of us working together. David and Helena at @oma.eu - you are both magic!! I’ll never get over the church / catwalk reference in your deck.

None of this would be possible without this amazing ecology of ppl - and their dedication and skills. Thank you.

I have more to say - in upcoming posts - about the artists and participants, the queen (yes the actual queen), our fab CAC crew, and my beautiful friends and fam.

This is just a little glimpse into the install. It was a WILD ride. All sooooo worth the lack of sleep!
