@salafestival #?? I’ve lost track

oh @suziting you are a marvel. I failed to take close-ups of your hanging works. They become more mesmerising and magnetic as one gets closer. And your 365 dishes. A reminder that sometime simplicity is both a commitment and a virtue.

Phenomics, 100 years of better plant breeding, harvest, and when wine came to Waite. Just a few stories I was asked to pen for the Lumen Waite 100 magazine, celebrating one hell of an impressive milestone.

I was in my element in the vineyard, exploring the soil collection (basically an encyclopaedia of Aussie dirt) and knock on doors behind which some of the brightest research minds in the world are hidden.

Thank you @uniofadelaide for trusting me with the stories and the commission of my little agricultural dreams. She’s a beautiful publication. Great to have pics by @randylarcombe alongside my mix on consonants and vowels again.

Congrats on a century and many more to come. ♥️ 🌱 🍇

We feel so privileged to have been involved in @transformativerepair project, launched at @jamfactoryau last night. To see these broken necklaces, first created by Alice Potter, honoured and restored and reimagined in the hands of an incredible artist such as Kay Lawrence. We cried when we first saw them. Alice brought so much beauty into the world and it continues in these new forms… I don’t think this was easy for anyone, but it felt honest and the result is very very beautiful. Yesterday was a good day.

Our love and gratitude to Alice’s family for trusting this process. There’s a lovely film about it @transformativerepair website and also link in bio

The Eyre Peninsula is South Australia’s own ‘wild west’, with unspoiled scenery and coastlines galore. But, if you look a little deeper, you’ll find yourself wanting more.
