Travel is good for the soul.

There’s something about stepping outside your everyday routine, experiencing a new place, meeting different people, and seeing the world through a different lens that just does something for you. It reminds you how big the world is, how much there is to learn, and how beautiful life can be when you slow down enough to experience it.

Years ago, I read The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss, and it genuinely shifted my perspective on life. It challenged the idea that we’re supposed to spend the best years of our lives working, putting off the things we dream about, and waiting until retirement to finally start living.

Why do we treat travel, freedom, adventure, and enjoying life as rewards we have to earn someday? Why wait until we’re older to do the things that make us feel alive?

That book planted a seed in me: what if life wasn’t about waiting for the finish line, but creating a life you actually want to experience along the way?

Of course, we all have responsibilities, goals, and seasons that require sacrifice. But I believe there’s a way to make room for the things that fill your cup now, too.

For me, travel is about so much more than a destination. It’s about perspective, memories, connection, growth, and those moments that remind you you’re really living. It’s about collecting experiences instead of constantly postponing them for a future that isn’t guaranteed.

Because the goal isn’t just to retire one day and finally enjoy life. The goal is to build a life you don’t have to keep putting on hold.

Don’t wait until someday to start living the life you dream about.

What’s one place you’ve been that changed your perspective on life? 💭👇

Funny thing about this one.
I wasn’t even in the room.
I was supposed to be at Freedom Fuel that day.
Didn’t make it.

But Jerome was.
He sat through Ryan’s breakdown of the Investor Arsenal and it clicked.
Scanned the QR code after the talk.
A few minutes later I reached out to him.
Total strangers.
First conversation.
But within the first five minutes I knew exactly where he was.
4 deals. 5 deals. Pipeline full, cash tapped.
He didn’t need a pitch.
He needed someone who understood the wall he was hitting and had a tool to break through it.

We built a plan. Got him an unsecured line of credit structured around how he actually invests.
A few weeks later he sent me this

“Shoutout to Closer Capital for transforming my financial journey. Their professionalism and support in securing an unsecured credit line has made all the difference.”

Here’s what I keep thinking about.
It’s crazy how two strangers can come to an understanding faster than people who’ve known each other for years.

No small talk. No dancing around it. No ego.
Just here’s where I am. Here’s what I need. Can you help.
That’s how real deals get built.
That’s how real relationships start.

To my Investor Fuel family I may not have been in the room that day. But I’m in the room now.

If you’re hitting the same ceiling Jerome was
drop ARSENAL in the comments.
I’ll reach out personally.

The time seems to fly by these days. This trip was just a few years ago, but seems like yesterday. It’s wild how much the kids have grown in such a short time. #travel #realestate

How Randy Wolfe Turned Setbacks Into Systems (and Why Investors Need Speed + Process to Win)

💡 “Obstacles are just opportunities to grow.”

That’s what Randy Wolfe @randywolferei shared with me at @investor.fuel Live — and it’s one of those lines that hits deeper the more you think about it.

Randy’s story is what real investing looks like:
A teacher and coach turned full-time investor, who learned the hard way that flips can fail, budgets break, and timelines stretch.
But instead of quitting, he built a system.

He shifted from chasing flips to buying deeper — focusing on BRRRRs and buy-and-holds that build real wealth.
💬 “Fix-and-flips give you today money.
Buy-and-holds build tomorrow money.”

That mindset is why Randy’s winning — and it’s the same mindset that drives how we operate at @closer_capital

See, real growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through systems.
Our team lives by that — it’s why every deal runs through proven SOPs that keep investors in control:
📊 46% of leads become applications.
📊 50% of applications get approved.
📊 50% of those approvals fund — fast.

That kind of consistency doesn’t come from luck; it comes from structure, communication, and clarity — the same principles Randy used to turn chaos into cash flow.

At Closer Capital, we bring multiple lenders to compete for your deal — not just one option that might stall.
Because when your systems are dialed in and your capital moves fast, growth stops being random — it becomes repeatable.

⚡ Huge respect to investor fuel for building a room where conversations like this one push the whole industry forward.
